3MTM Digital Signage – Site ServerDesigned specifically to enhance network efficiency and performance,Site Server software provides a consolidated communications channelbetween your 3MTM Network Edition server (whether 3M-hosted orhosted by you) and players within the site.

3M Site Server highlights include:

■ Reduced total bandwidth usage■ Single communications channel per site■ Consolidates player status and proof

of play reporting for all players within the site before relaying them to the central server

■ Supports a variety of distribution methods: FTP, HTTP, SAT* and File Share

* Site Server is required in satellite multicast environments

3M Site Server software is particularly useful when networksscale up to large numbers of localplayers and/or large amounts ofcontent are being downloaded to players on a frequent basis.

Because all player communica-tion is via the Site Server, only oneinternet connection is required ateach location, and content files aredownloaded only once to the SiteServer for distribution to players.

3M Content Server Software provides the option of storingmedia content files within your firewall, or anywhere else youchoose.

Without Content ServerSoftware installed, Network EditionSoftware uploads content to a 3M internet-hosted server, then passes it on to your networkedplayers.

With 3M Content Server, content uploads directly to yourin-house server. Similarly, yourplayers download content directlyfrom your Content Server.

3M Site Server and 3M Content Server software are one-time purchases. Technical support, annual maintenance and software upgrades are included as partof 3M Network Edition Annual Subscription Fees.
