HISTORY

The first animated film from India is considered to be "Ek Anek Aur Ekta", a short traditionally animated short educational film released in1974 from Doordarshan's Film Division

The first Indian animated television series is Ghayab Aaya , aired in1986 and directed by Suddhasattwa Basu.

The First Indian 3D was done for television series "CAPTAIN VYOM"by MAYA ENTERTAINMENT LTD.

The first Indian 3D animated film is Roadside Romeo , which wasYash Raj Films

The Animation Society of India (TASI) is a non-profit organizationwith its head-office in Mumbai.

What is 3D?

3D means three-dimensional , i.e. something that has width , height anddepth (length) . Our physical environment is three-dimensional and wemove around in 3D every day.

However it's important to note that having vision in both eyes(stereoscopic or binocular vision ) is not the only way to see in 3D.

People who can only see with one eye ( monocular vision ) can stillperceive the world in 3D, and may even be unaware that they are stereo

blind. They are simply missing one of the tools to see in 3D, so they relyon others without thinking about it.

One of the first displays of computer animation was Futureworld (1976),

3D computer graphics creation falls into three basic phases:

1. 3D modeling the process of forming a computer model of an object'sshape

2. Layout and animation the motion and placement of objects within ascene

3. 3D rendering the computer calculations that, based on lightplacement, surface types, and other qualities, generate the image

3D printing is usually performed by a materials printer using digital technology.

Since the start of the twenty-first century

The technology is used in the fields of jewellery, footwear, industrial design,architecture, engineering and construction (AEC), automotive, aerospace, dentaland medical industries, education, geographic information systems, civilengineering, and many others.

Between 2011 and 2012 a 3D printing focused exhibit was held at Disseny HubBarcelona

The stereoscope was first invented by Sir Charles Wheatstone in 1838.

In the late 1890s, the British film pioneer William Friese-Greene filed apatent for a 3D movie process.

in 1922 the first public 3D movie The Power of Love was displayed.
