SPM Shock Pulses

Pressure waves, generated by rollingelements and the raceway.

Measured by transducer which amplifies the

shock signal and filters out machine

vibration. Pattern consists of a rapid sequence of

strong and weak pulses

dBc decibel carpet - the large number ofrelatively weak shock pulses

dBm ( decibel max) - few strong pulses in

the pattern
