I decided to fulfil my dream of moving to New Zealand, so I quit my job (although I have been freelancing for Cancio from here) and take a year off to improve my design skills. During this year I have been travelling all around the country,
practising photography and polishing up my English before settling in Wellington. For the last 6 months I have been boosting my 3D design and web development skills, while putting this portfolio together.

ABOUT ME25. Designer, developer and maker.
Entrepeneur, I started as a freelancer when I was 17, and within 3 years I had successfully created my own company. By the age of 22 I was announced the Director of the Design Department for a multi-million dollar company (Cancio - Furniture Manufacturing).
Outgoing and hard-working, I enjoy a true balance in life and put as much effort into my social life as I dointo my work, which is simply a lot.
I COME FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD.LITERALLY.
Born in Valladolid (Spain)Living in Wellington (New Zealand)
Fun Fact: Valladolid and Wellington are exact antipodes. Which means that I live at the opposite point on Earth from where I was born.

PRODUCT MINIATURES
3D Printing has become part of the design process for any product, to have either a functional prototype or simply a miniature of the final product for reference.
*Procedural Vray material created to reproduce in 3D the visual characteristics of a printed object (layers, crossed pattern on top, translucency...).
30 3D PRINTING.BYVALLE
FUNCTIONAL3D PRINTINGEither for prototyping or as a cost-optimization system, 3D Printing has many functionalities.
GO PRO & IPHONE ACCESORIES-iPhone case for GoPro mount (97% cheaper than the commercial version).-GoPro mount for Hama tripod (95% cheaper than the commercial version).-GoPro screw replacement (60% cheaper).
CNC SUPPORTDesigned to help a 3-axis CNC machine for themanufacture of a set of table legs. Through creating this piece with 3D printing, we successfully saved 90% of costs in comparison to previous versions made with a mould.
CUSTOMIZED BLISTER TRAY PACKDesigned to fit the necessary tools to build a table (hex key, screws, instructions...).
VENTILATION PIPEDesigned for the purpose of fixing the connection of another factory machine with the ventilation system.
FURNITURE MECHANISM PROTOTYPES-Gravity lock for space-saving bar.-Flexible handler for extending table.
TWEEZERSQuite simply a functional pair of tweezers.

STRUCTURAL CALCULATIONSUsing equlibrium equations to calculate the minimun length of a 3-legged table. Product in current production.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENTI lead R&D projects for Cancio, including:
-New “Procedure Manual for Design and Product Development” to improve the quality and results of the process for future designers.
-Optimising manufacturing costs using 3D Printing (saving up to $2700 per project).
-Cutting costs on the printed catalogue by using different layouts (saving $2500).

MAGAZINE FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS+ EVENT MANAGEMENT
Mainly a personal project whereby a bimonthly magazine including puzzles, brain teasers with other interesting articles and curiosities were developed for university students.
Many of the articles and logistics were in collaboration with other fellow designers and friends.
The magazine was financed by advertisers, some of them offering prizes for those readers who completed the magazine contests. These prizes included concert and cinema tickets, drinks and more.
I also created a promotional system based on a “0€ bill” within the magazine itself with which readers were appreciated through discounts for products offered by advertising companies.
I developed a mobile app to read the magazine on the phone, and also to find the location of the advertisers and updates of their events.
