Judith Allen, of Ottawa, IS a lawyer and sole proprietor of AIM (Arbitration Investigation Mediation). She is a Ministry of Labour Arbitrator and a part-time Professor, Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa. She was also one of the founding partners of Raven, Allen, Cameron, Ballantyne & Yazbeck LLP. Ms. Allen is a volunteer with the Great Canadian Theatre Company.

Kevin Cleghorn, of Thunder Bay, is Director of the Family Law Office of Legal Aid Ontario (Thunder Bay). He also serves as a Deputy Judge for Small Claims Court in the Nmihwest Region and is a sessional lecturer in the Department of Political Science at Lakehead University. Mr. Cleghorn is a member and former Chair of Lakehead University Board of Governors.

Denyse Diaz, of Ajax, is an Associate Lawyer with the Gregory Price Law Office. She is currently a part-time member of the Child and Family Services Review Board and Custody Review Board and served as Vice-Chair from 2006 to 2008. Ms. Diaz is a member and a former Director of the Durham Region Law Association.

Sharon Ffolkes Abrahams, of Richmond Hill, is a lawyer who has practised in the areas of human rights and before administrative tribunals and the courts in Ontario for over 25 years. She is a former legal counsel with both the Ontario Human Rights Commission and the Advocacy Resource Centre for the Handicapped (ARCH). She is a former member of the York Region Accessibility Advisory Committee under the Ontarians with Disabilities Act (ODA).

Michael Lerner, of London, is a partner with the law firm ofLerners LLP with emphasis on commercial litigation, criminal law, employment law and appearances before administrative tribunals. Mr. Lerner has been actively involved in a number of community and charitable organizations and currently serves as Chair of the Children's Health Foundation and as a board member of the Foundation for Gene and Cell Therapy.

Yasmeena Mohamed, of Mississauga, is a lawyer and currently practises as an arbitrator and mediator in all sectors of labour and employment matters. She was recently appointed a Ministry of Labour Grievance Arbitrator. Ms. Mohamed is a former senior counsel with both the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services and the Ontario Human Rights Commission. Her volunteer work includes Friends of the International Relief Development Fund, the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund and the Federation of Muslim Women.

Alan Smith, of Mississauga, was a staff lawyer with Legal Aid Ontario (Brampton) from 2004 to 2009. He is a former lawyer in private practice and also acted as a part-time Crown prosecutor. Mr. Smith is President and Board Chair of the Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre and a committee member of the both the Square One Youth Centre and the Nexus Youth Centre.

Ted (John Edward) Reid Nominated as a member

He is currently Vice-Chair of the Quinte Economic Development Commission and a former Director of the Quinte Health Care Board.

Angella Hughes, of Rosemount, is President and CEO of Xogen Technologies Inc. Prior to joining Xogen, she was a member of the technical staff at the Boeing Company, Rocketdyne Propulsion and Power Division. Ms. Hughes is Director and Treasurer of Headwaters Healthcare Center and a member of the Advisory Committee at Seneca College School ofElectronic Engineering Technology.

She is a former panel member of the Office of the Commissioner of Review Tribunal and a former manager of Geriatric Outreach Clinics at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. Ms. Edwards is a former member of the Peel Halton District Health Council and a founding member of both the Peel Community Care Access Centre and Operation Black Vote Canada.

Mathilde Gravelle Bazinet, of North Bay, is currently president of MGB & Associates­Conflict Resolution Professionals and provides mediation, coaching and training services in collaborative conflict resolution. She was Chair of the North East Local Health Integration Network from 2005 to 2009. She is a former executive director of the Office of Conflict Management and Federal Centre for Workplace Conflict Management at Justice Canada and a former legal counsel with Health Canada- Justice Canada. She has served on many local and provincial commissions, boards and councils and is currently a member of the Ontario Northern Transportation Commission.

Christopher Jodhan, ofMississauga, is Vice-President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at the Electrical Safety Authority. Prior to this, he was legal counsel with the Ministry of Government Services and an associate with the law finn of Black Cassels & Graydon. Mr. Jodhan's volunteer work has included Yellow Brick House, the Elizabeth Fry Society and the Mental Health Association.

Carla Peppler, of Hanover, is a nurse practitioner providing medical and nursing care to seniors living in a variety of settings including long-term care facilities and retirement homes. She is a former Director of Policy and Resident Care at the Ontario Nursing Home Association. Ms. Peppler was a member of the Ontario Strategy for Alzheimer Disease External Advisory Committee and a former President of the Ontario PsychoGeriatric Association.

Lynn Wardell Nominated as a member

Lynn Wardell, of Brantford, is currently a Crisis Response Program Team Leader at the Canadian Mental Health Association, Oxford County. She is also an after hours emergency services worker with the Children' s Aid Society of Brant. Ms. Wardell is currently a member of the Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk Community Legal Clinic. She is a former member of the Suicide Prevention Network and the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Advisory Committee ofHaldimand Norfolk, and a former member ofNova Vita Women's Services, Brantford.

Maureen Doyle Ian Mackenzie Douglas Sanderson Nominated as members and Vice-Chairs

Maureen Doyle, of Toronto, currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal. Prior to this, she was a partner with the law firm of Ryder Wright Blair & Doyle. Her community involvement includes C. PP. S. Mission Projects, where she assists with fundraising for educational, health and water projects in Tanzania. Ms. Doyle is a member of the Society of Ontario Adjudicators and Regulators and has been a member ofthe Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario since 2008.

Ian Mackenzie, of Ottawa, has worked in private practice for federal public service unions and as counsel with the Department of Justice. He is currently Vice-Chair of the Public Service Labour Relations Board. Mr. Mackenzie is a former course director of a federal training program for tribunal members and a former member of the Equity Advisory Group of the Law Society ofUpper Canada.

Douglas Sanderson, of Toronto, is a lawyer and a trained negotiator and mediator. He is a former Senior Employee Relations Business Partner with BMO Financial Group and a former associate with the law firm of Ogilvy Renault. Mr. Sanderson is a volunteer with Amnesty International and the Law Society ofUpper Canada' s Lawyers Feed the Hungry Program.
