YOU NEED:• approx. 1/2m of fabric (tight weave cotton)

• 8" elastic

• 40" twill tape for drawstring (or make 3/8" fabric tie)

• 3/8" SA everywhere

HOW TO MAKE:• join pattern pieces together A+B and C+D - cut out 1 piece for each pattern piece with notches

• press up on fold line on side piece (A+B) (makes it easier later)

• sew CB seam on side piece 3/8" SA - leave opening for drawstring

• sew dart (with curve) on top piece (C+D)

• sew top piece to side piece Note: ease within notches 3/8" SA

• serge or zig zag all raw edges

• sew 8" elastic at foldline on inner edge between side notches

• knot drawstring together at end and place in folded channel with knot through opening in CB seam

• top stitch folded edge up all the way around the cap

• press seams
