How to reach us...By Road - Leave the motorway M6 at junction 36, following the dual carriageway (signpostedWindermere and South Lakes), via the Kendal bypass and the A591. Immediately onentering Windermere turn left on the A592 to Bowness. At the lake shore continue past theSteamer Pier for 300 metres to the Burnside Hotel, which is on your left.

By Rail - Change for Windermere at Oxenholme (The Lake District), which is a main linestation on the London Euston/Glasgow Central line. Taxis are usually available fromWindermere Station forecourt, but if in difficulty telephone the Hotel on 015394 42211.

By Coach - On entering Bowness, take the first left after the mini roundabout in thecentre of Bowness, which will take you on to Kendal Road. Continue for 200 metres to theBurnside Hotel, which is on your right.
