Charging• Plug the charging unit (D)

into an electrical outlet andplace the handle on thecharging unit.

• A full charge takes 16 hoursand will provide an operationtime of approximately 20 minutes.

• For everyday use, thehandle can be stored on theplugged-in charging unit tomaintain the toothbrush atfull power. Overcharging isimpossible.

Battery maintenanceTo maintain the maximumcapacity of the rechargeablebattery, you must discharge itat least once every 6 months.To do this, unplug the charg-ing unit and allow the batteryto run down with normal use.

Using the toothbrush• Slide brushhead on handle. • Wet brushhead and apply

toothpaste.• Place brushhead on teeth,

then switch on.• Move the brushhead in a

slightly circular motion,similar to a manual tooth-brush. Allow the longerInterdental bristles to reachbetween your teeth, whilethe CrissCross bristlesfocus on cleaning the toothsurface and gumline regions.

• After a few seconds, guidethe bristles to the nextsection.

• After two minutes (brushingtime recommended bydentists) the timer (S 12513

• During the first few days ofuse, it is possible that yourgums may bleed slightly.Should bleeding persistafter 2 weeks, contact yourdentist.

• Replace brushhead every 3 months, when bristles areworn (1c) or when colour onIndicator bristles (1b) hasfaded half-way down thebristles.

CleaningAfter use, rinse the brushheadunder running water (2).Remove the brushhead andrinse brushhead and handleseparately (3), then dry.

Environmental noticeThis product contains nickel-cadmium rechargeablebatteries. In the interest ofprotecting the environment,please do not dispose of theproduct in the householdwaste at the end of its usefullife. Disposal can take place at a Braun Repair Centre.
