How did it go Wednesday and Thursday? How are your group presentations coming along?

Do you have any questions for me about them?

electricity generation. Unfortunately, this technique relies on burning oil. In your opinion, why are these two process done together?

(Electrical Engineering, Khaled 130 A

Conversation starter 130A In the most countries, if you exceed the limit speed

limit will you get a ticket. From your perspective, are tickets enough to make drivers respect the speed limit? What other things could work? (Saeed Alloghani, Law, 130A)

Conversation starter 130A There are types of fungi that are characterized by

different colors. These colors distinguish the extent of the fungi’s toxicity. In your opinion, which colors do you think are the most toxic? Why?

(Microbiology, Rahmah, 130A)

Conversation starter 130B Even if an offender tries to commit a crime and cannot

because something/someone prevents him/ her from it, he/she will be punished. If he attempts to kill a person with the help of another person, both people will be punished. Do you think this rule will decrease the rate of crimes or not ? And what do you think the judge should do in these cases ?

(Hibatullah Alsharari, law, 130B)

Conversation starter 130B In every field or major there are some ambiguous

aspects, so students study hard to make these aspects clear for them. Because I did not study biomedical engineering yet, much of the content is ambiguous. Thereforse, I am so enthusiastic to start studying biomedical engineering to have answers for all my questions. Can you think of any ambiguous aspects in biomedical engineering or in your major?

(Maryam Felemban, Biomedical engineering. 130 B)

Conversation starter 130B Nowadays mechanical engineering is a competitive

major, so you have to exceed being average to be a successful mechanical engineer. Do you agree or disagree with my opinion? In your opinion, which major/field is the most competitive?

Maad Almani, 130B
