In celebration of our rich maritime heritage, we welcome you to the 35th Annual Ocean Institute Tall Ships & Ocean Festival presented by Toshiba.
LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
After 35 successful years of bringing maritime history to life with tall ships, cannon battles, concerts, food, waterfront access, and entertainment, we are excited to provide the community with a weekend packed full of educational fun and entertainment. Because Dana Point is already known as the town for music, we are excited to add more emphasis on music along with the other festivities! A special thanks to the headlining band for Saturday afternoon… the local music legends, Tijuana Dogs.
We invite you to visit the new Maritime History Center located in the Chilcote Family Custom House directly across from the brig Pilgrim. You don’t want to miss it! On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am grateful to OC Supervisor Lisa Bartlett, sponsors and partners for supporting the Ocean Institute and our mission: using the ocean as our classroom, we inspire children to learn. Every dollar contributed by your ticket purchase goes to supporting Ocean Institute educational programs. I look forward to seeing you at this spectacular event.
Best Regards, Dan Pingaro, President & CEO
