perspective on designing sportswear.

The clothing feels like a second skin and

is tailored to support and �atter women’s

curves, giving rise to graceful movement

in class that extends into daily life.

Originally in�uenced by the needs of hot

yoga, we sourced the globe to �nd soft,

gorgeous and quick-drying fabrics. The

clothing was created for women who

value luxury fabrics and craftsmanship.

Jennie Smithe, the founder was

born and raised in Chicago, but has been

living in NYC for the past 13 years. She

is a �tness enthusiast with a love for

yoga. She began sewing and creating

her own clothes when she was a little

girl. Since graduating, she has worked

in both �nance and fashion.

351 Apparel, the name of the

line, was born from a place of personal

transformation. Jennie spent much of

her twenties in a cramped apartment

(number 351) in Manhattan’s East

Village, struggling to �nd her way in the

fashion industry amid the sometimes

overwhelming frenzy of New York City.

The shared space was small, and

city-life was sometimes dif�cult, but 351

always felt like home. There, with the

help of her roommate, she discovered

yoga. In addition to transforming her

body, yoga quieted her mind and helped

her to uncover, and focus on, her true

desires.

She came to the revelation that if

she could combine her two passions,

she’d be on her true path and so the path

to 351 began. Each of her designs comes

from this place. She is proud and

honored to have the opportunity to

share them with you.
