350 Dreams Ready to Launch

While touring the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in 1977, Dr. Wernher Von Braun com-mented, “You know, we have all these camps for youngsters in this country - band campsand cheerleader camps and football camps. Why don’t we have a science camp?” So theybuilt one, and in 2017, that science camp turns 35 years old!

To celebrate 35 years of inspiring global youth to pursue their dreams, the SpaceCamp Alumni Association, in partnership with the U.S. Space and Rocket Center Founda-tion 501(c) 3, is on a mission to raise scholarships that will send 350 kids to camp.
