Jubilee Juggernauts Vs Canungra On Thursday 14th August at 3.30pm our Jubilee Juggernauts will play Canungra on the Jubilee Oval. This annual event has always attracted many spectators, so if you are free please come along and support this sporting event.
Monthly P&F General Meeting Our meeting is on tonight at 7:00pm in the Jubilee Centre Meeting Room (Hall). Everyone is welcome to attend. Come along and see what we do and have a say in how our levies are spent – we look forward to seeing you there. The Agenda is as follows:

Family Fun Day Family Fun Day this weekend! Don’t forget to bring in any last minute donations for your Year Level Stall. We are in for a real treat – the Stall Coordinators have been doing an amazing job and so have our wonderful Jubilee families donating very generously. Also, pre-purchase your Unlimited Ride Armbands this week outside Admin at 8:15am and 2:45pm for $25 (they are $30 on the day) – cash only. Armbands are also on sale at OHSC. Volunteer rosters for Jubilee stalls and unfilled rosters for Year Level Stalls will be available outside the office all this week alongside Armband Sales. See the attached FFD Flyer.
Father’s Day Stall Father’s Day is just around the corner and we look forward to displaying gifts in the iCentre window after the Family Fun Day. If you are available to help set up or sell at the Father’s Day stall, please email Jane Bourke at [email protected]. Dad’s Celebration September is the month for Dads! Dad’s Night Out is getting reworked so watch this space for how we will be celebrating Dads in the Jubilee community for Father’s Day. We will also have some news on which important cause we will be supporting during this celebration. Jubilee Community Business Directory Take a look at our new Jubilee Community Business Directory! Book Week Dress Up Come to school dressed as your favourite book character on Thursday 21st August. Scholastic Book Club orders will close Thursday 28th August. Please forward orders to class teachers or to the iCentre for processing.
Surviving The Winter Season A note to all Parents and Caregivers is being sent home with students today in relation to the amount of colds and flu’s which seem to be circulating Jubilee at the moment. Please take a moment to read this information. A reminder also to contact the Administration Office and press 1 to leave your child’s name, class and absentee reason on the school message bank, as this information is collated each day.

St Mary’s Catholic Parish Coomera Catholic students who are now in Yr.3 or above can register bow for Sacraments of Confirmation, First Holy Communion and Reconciliation. Parents can contact the Parish Office on 5529 9144 (Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri 9am-1pm). Registration can be done on Thursday 11th September at 6pm and Saturday 13th September at 7pm. You will be required to bring your child’s Baptism Certificate with you on the night of registration.
School Photos We have just taken delivery this afternoon of student photos (as per parent pre-orders). Student photo packs will be distributed to students in the next few days. We will endeavour to distribute all orders by tomorrow afternoon. If you have any queries or any concerns regarding the photo packs please direct your query directly to MSP Photography.
Overdue School Fees Please note that Term 3 fees are now overdue. Overdue fee statement reminders have been posted to families.

2014 Welcome to the Family Fun Day Flyer – everything you need to know to support our much loved event.
4 more sleeps! Some things to remember….. The day runs from 10am to 3pm Pre-paid Armbands are on sale NOW!
We have an ATM onsite! Look out for FREE activities that are available too! And…
If you can, put your name down on any of the rosters to help make the day easier and more enjoyable for everyone. A lot of the stalls you can work with your kids so get them to help you!
ARMBANDS ON SALE NOW…. $25 (ON THE DAY $30)!! Outside the office at 8:15am and 2:45pm all this week (cash only).
Also available to purchase at OHSC (cash only).
Trybooking purchases available for collection outside the office all this week too! Armbands are $30 on the day or alternatively you can purchase individual ride tickets $3 for one or $5 for two.

Jars….bring in clear glass jars filled with something
kids love – eg. lollies, marbles.
Year 3
Second Hand Clothing….last chance to bring in
clean, good quality used children’s clothing.
Year 4
Sweets & Lollies….bring in bags of good quality lollies
ie. snakes, milk bottles, frogs…..and home baked confectionary ie. toffee, fudge if you dare!
Year 5
Tuckshop…. bring in individually wrapped both small
and large lollipops and chocolates for our school stall “Spin it to Win it”.
Year 6
Science Lab….look out for the exact items and
quantities of all things SCIENCE from your PSP.
Year 7
Books….bring in last minute donations of good quality
books/magazines.

Don’t forget to look out for where to roster yourself on for your Year Level Stall. Half an hour on the day is all that is needed and
any time you give will be greatly appreciated. All unfilled rosters will be available outside Admin this week at
8:15am and 2:45pm (alongside pre-purchase Armband sales).
Can you spare half an hour?
...helping with car park flow Saturday morning Pop on a vest, have the mud map in hand and help direct traffic coming into our car park to keep stall arrivals running smoothly and everyone safe. We would love someone on car park duties from 6:30am to 9:00am Saturday morning and then again in the afternoon between 3-4pm. If you can do both or either, please contact Belinda on 0431 272 232 or [email protected]
...making play-doh for the Chill out Zone We would love some play-doh for our Parent’s Chill Out Zone. Email [email protected] if you are able to bring in some home-made play-doh on the morning of the Family Fun Day and drop it at the Parent’s Chill out Zone! Wonderful colours, scents and textures invited!
...baking cupcakes for Tracey Hastie We already have some wonderful mums baking, but we need just a couple more! Tracey Hastie is selling cupcakes at the Family Fun Day to raise much needed funds for her daughter Sophie. Please email [email protected] if you can bring in home-baked cupcakes the morning of the Family Fun Day.
...helping to set up Dads! We need a couple of Dads to help set up marquees between 12 - 2pm on Friday (bring a hammer). We are also setting up trestle tables and chairs, so if anyone is around at this time on the Friday, we would love your help.
