The contractor shall furnish (and install inlocation as shown on the plan) an Aurora Type3350 horizontal centrifugal pump model________. Each pump shall have acapacity of ____GPM at ____ft. total headand ___specific gravity. The pump is to haveall wetted Stainless Steel Metal Parts (20% GFNoryl ™ Ejector on 3353/3354). The pump isto be equipped with a mechanical seal will allmetal parts to be stainless steel, Buna-Nbellows, ceramic seat and carbon washer.
Close Coupled Models 3351 … 3353… 3357:
The pump is to be close coupled to a NEMAmotor of ___hp, ___ph ___hertz,___voltage, ____RPM (open dripproof)(totally enclosed fan cooled) enclosure.Motors for model 3351 and 3351 shall havea stainless steel shaft of NEMA Jet design.Motors for model 3357 shall be of NEMA JMdesign and shaft shall be protected by astainless steel shaft sleeve.
Flexible Coupled Models 3352 …3354 … 3358:
The pump is to be mounted on a power frameequipped with permanently lubricated sealed
ball bearings. Power frame shaft shall be ofstainless steel with NEMA Jet design for pumpmodels 3352 and 3354. For model 3358, thecarbon steel shaft is NEMA JM design. Thepump is to be flexible coupled to a standardhorizontal NEMA motor of ___hp, ___ph,___hertz, ___voltage, ___RPM (open dripproof (totally enclosed fan cooled) (explosionproof) enclosure. The pump shall be mountedon a formed steel baseplate. Pump and motoralignment shall be checked in accordance withthe Standards of the Hydraulic Institute afterthe pump has been installed.
