WELCOME to our Sunday celebration!

If it is your first time with us we would like to especially welcome you.

We hope that you will enjoy meeting with God and His people today!

Crèche, kids and youth work provisions are held in the rooms on the

2nd floor. All our fantastic children’s workers hold CRB checks.

Free tea and coffee is in the first floor foyer after the meeting where

we would love to get to know you and to help you make new friends.

On Sunday Kevin brought us a word from God that was fundamental to our vision for 2011 as New Life Church. He spoke about how, in 2011 we as New Life Church are go-ing to be a community of power. If we think about this carefully it's a pretty awesome thought. He gave the example of how Peter's shadow would heal the sick, and I really believe that isn't something we just read about and admire it is something that we can step into to-day. After all we do live under an open heaven (and by this I mean 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!) we have access to all the riches and fullness of heaven whenever we need it! Therefore isn't it about time we caught hold of this revelation and began putting it into practice? God gave us the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit can do anything: Raise the dead, heal cancer, cause limbs to grow, cause eyes to open, ears to hear... the list is literally endless! Therefore if we aren't utilising the power inside us to extend God's Kingdom what's the point of him being there?!

Our vision to be a church of...

Ask yourself: What does this mean to

my life? How can I outwork and express

all that God calls me to be?

Why not get along to a Church in

the Home this week and play your part

in discovering the new season we are in!

I know it sounds hard but God did-n't give us the Holy Spirit so that we could have a comfortable life. He gave it us as a gift so that we could display God's limitless power to the uttermost parts of the earth. If Jesus said to us "You will do these things and even greater" shouldn't we be putting that into action? When we see a work colleague who has been bound by illness for years we have the authority to command healing. Why? Because of the power within us. The supernatural shouldn't be su-per anymore. It should be known as 'natural' because God has given us unlimited resource when it comes to extending his kingdom rule and reign here on the earth. A fantastic line from Kevin's preach on Sunday was: "When we pray, we have le-gions of Angels at our disposal" So New Life Church; 2011, let it be a year where we have testimony after testimony of God's power moving amongst us. Let it be a year where we fully realise what it is God has given us and let it be a year where use this power to make him famous in this city.
