LoveTe Secretto Your Success

Love. You hear a lot about it. But,the truth is, few people really knowwhat it is.

For most, its an emotional phantom

that appearsthen vanisheswith-out warning. Illusive. Undefinable.Forever sought, but rarely found.

Even believers seem to be confused

about it at times. But they dont needto be. Te Word of God reveals clearlywhat love truly is.

Look at 2 John 6: And what this

love consists in is this: that we live andwalk in accordance with and guidedby His commandments (His orders,ordinances, precepts, teaching.) Tis is

the commandment, as you have heardfrom the beginning, that you continueto walk in love [guided by it andfollowing it] (The Amplified Bible).

Quite simply, God says love is

keeping His commandments. Tatbrings love out of the indefinite intosomething explicit. But God has doneeven more than define love for you.Hes given you instructions so you

can know how to love as He loves. Bygiving you His Word, God has givenyou His love manual in black andwhite! All you have to do is follow it,

and youll be walking in love.If youve made Jesus Christ the

Lord of your life, youve already takenthe first step of obedience. Te love of

God has been born within you. But,unless you take action, that love willremain hidden within you.

Love works in much the same wayas the force of faith. Faith is borninto you when you are begotten ofGod, but until you begin to act onGods Word, that powerful force liesdormant. Te same is true concerning

the love of God. You can have the loveof God abiding within you and still beunable to allow it to work through youto reach other people. Like faith, love

becomes active through knowledge ofthe Word.

Tats why the Apostle Paul wroteto the church at Philippi saying, And

this I pray, that your love may aboundyet more and more in knowledge andin all judgment (Philippians 1:9).

Te love of God is released in

your life by acting on the knowledgeof Gods Word. Without revela-tion knowledge followed by action,love lies undeveloped and selfishness

continues to reign supreme in youeven though you are a new creature.

But whoso keepeth his word, inhim verily is the love of God perfected:hereby know we that we are in him.

He that saith he abideth in him oughthimself also so to walk, even as hewalked (1 John 2:5-6).

As you act on Gods Word, the love

of God will be perfected in you. Tatswhen love will begin to flow from youto others.

Tere is nothing, absolutely noth-

ing, more important than learningto love. In fact, how accurately youperfect the love walk will determinehow much of the perfect will of Godyou accomplish. Tats because everyother spiritual force derives its actionfrom love. For example, the Bibleteaches that faith works by love. (See

Galatians 5:6.) And answered prayeris almost an impossibility when abeliever steps outside of love andrefuses to forgive, or is in strife withhis brother.

First Corinthians 13, the love chap-ter, says tongues are just noise if thereis no love. If a person has the gift ofprophecy, understands all knowledge,has enough faith to move mountains

but is without love, he is nothing. Ifhe gives all that he has to the poorand even sacrifices his life, withoutthe love of God he gains nothing.

Without love, your giving willnot work, tongues and prophecy willnot work, faith fails and knowledgeis unfruitful. All the truths youve

learned from Gods Word work bylove. Tey will profit you little unlessyou live the love of God.

First Corinthians 13:4-8 paints aperfect picture of how love behaves.

Love endures long and is patientand kind; love never is envious

nor boils over with jealousy, isnot boastful or vainglorious, doesnot display itself haughtily. Itis not conceited (arrogant and

inflated with pride); it is not rude(unmannerly) and does not actunbecomingly. Love (Gods lovein us) does not insist on its ownrights or its own way, for it is not

self-seeking; it is not touchy orfretful or resentful; it takes noaccount of the evil done to it [itpays no attention to a suffered

wrong]. It does not rejoice atinjustice and unrighteousness,but rejoices when right and truthprevail. Love bears up under

anything and everything thatcomes, is ever ready to believe thebest of every person, its hopes arefadeless under all circumstances,and it endures everything [with-out weakening]. Loves never

fails [never fades out or becomesobsolete or comes to an end](The Amplified Bible).

Tat may sound like a tough setof requirements, but you can meetthem. You are a love creature. God hasre-created your spirit in the image of

love. And He has sent His love Spiritto live in you to teach you how to loveas He loves. You canlive the love life!

Become love-conscious by confess-ing and acting on Gods Wordconcerning this love. As you meditatethese scriptures, see yourself living

the love life.

Youare the one who has to makethe decision to perfect the love ofGod in your life. No one else can do itfor you. So, make the decision in faith

and commit yourself to obey GodsWord about love.

Let me warn you: Tere will betimes when you would rather do

anything than allow love to rule. (Itwill seem as though it is taking off apound of flesh!) Tere will be timeswhen it would be much easier to getangry, seek your own and retaliate.

Love is directly opposed to thesenses. Te senses have been trainedto put themselves and their desiresabove anything else, selfishly seekingtheir own way. But love, the Wordsays, does not seek its own rights orits own way. And to walk in love, you

must demand that your senses (flesh)be subject to the Word.

Without a definite decision, youwill not continue in the love of God.So, commit yourself to agapeGods

lovenow. And when temptationcomes, youll remember your decisionand obey love.

Once youve made the decision, the

most powerful thing you can do inperfecting the love walk is to continu-ally confess you are the love of God.Base your confession on l Corinthians13:4-8. Tis God kind of love will

begin to influence all you say and do.If someone says something unkind toyou, love will say, Tats OK. I amnot touchy, fretful or resentful. I take

no account of that. And you go free!Learn to believe in love. Its the

most powerful force in the universe.

Walk in love by faith in the Word.Walking in love is walking in thespirit. It is walking as Jesus walked.

Love never fails. Nothing workswithout it, and there can be no failure

with it. When you live by love, youcannot fail.

It takes faith to believe that lovesway will not fail. Te natural mind

cannot understand that because thenatural man and his world are ruledby selfishness. He believes if you dontlook out for No. 1 (himself), no oneelse will. And, in a sense, hes right.

No one else can look out for him. Hisselfishness shuts the door to the loveof God, and he winds up on his own.

But when you practice love by faithand refuse to seek your own, you putthe Father into action on your behalf.He will allow no man to do you

wrong (l Chronicles 16:22). As longas you stay in love, God the Fatherseeks your own. He sees to it that lovenever fails. Walking in love is to yourgreat advantage!

Agapelove is a new kind of power.It makes you the master of every situa-

tion. As long as you walk in love, youcannot be hurt and you cannot fail.No weapon formed against you will

prosper. No one even has the power tohurt your feelings, because you are notruled by feelings but by Gods love.You are loving as He loves.

Prayer for Salvation and

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Nameof Jesus. Your Word says, Whosoever shall call onthe name of the Lord shall be saved (Acts 2:21).

I am calling on You. I pray and ask Jesus to comeinto my heart and be Lord over my life accordingto Romans 10:9-10: If thou shalt confess withthy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe inthine heart that God hath raised him from the

dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart manbelieveth unto righteousness; and with the mouthconfession is made unto salvation. I do that now.I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in myheart that God raised Him from the dead.

I am now reborn! I am a Christiana childof Almighty God! I am saved! You also said inYour Word, If ye then, being evil, know howto give good gifts unto your children: HOWMUCH MORE shall your heavenly Fathergive the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?(Luke 11:13). Im also asking You to fill mewith the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, rise up withinme as I praise God. I fully expect to speak withother tongues as You give me the utterance

(Acts 2:4). In Jesus Name. Amen!Begin to praise God for filling you with the

Holy Spirit. Speak those words and syllablesyou receivenot in your own language, but thelanguage given to you by the Holy Spirit. You haveto use your own voice. God will not force you tospeak. Dont be concerned with how it sounds. It isa heavenly language!

Continue with the blessing God has given youand pray in the spirit every day.

You are a born-again, Spirit-filled believer.Youll never be the same!

Find a good church that boldly preaches Gods

Word and obeys it. Become part of a church familywho will love and care for you as you love and carefor them.

We need to be connected to each other. Itincreases our strength in God. Its Gods plan for us.

Make it a habit to watch the Believers Voice ofVictory television broadcast and become a doer of the

Word, who is blessed in his doing ( James 1:22-25).
