Father Ted’s Catechism for Seniors... A Message from Fr. Edwin Metzger…
I fell in my apartment at Legacy-Park Crescent a few weeks ago. I am currently at St. Ann’s Transitional Care unit. I regret that I won’t be able to write my column until further notice.
Please pray for me while I recover and I’ll certainly be praying for you.
Sincerely,
Father Ted
LIGHTHOUSE CDS
C heck out the Lighthouse Catholic Media kiosk at the back of church! Our offerings include
different CDs, books, booklets, and pamphlets. The purpose of all the materials is to help Catholics learn and live their faith and to pass it on! We have gotten new books (Saints for our Times, Did Jesus Really Rise From the Dead) and new CDs (Who Am I to Judge?, Love, Sacrifice, Trust) for Lent and Easter. Our K of C Council donated a display of Building the Domestic Church booklets with 15 different topics on the family. This display is also at the back of church. Another resource available to our parishioners is FORMED. This is online access to eBooks, talks, and videos about our Catholic faith. The service has been paid for so that individuals at SCB can make use of it for free. Check our SCB website for details.

Confirmation 2018
Gifted to Serve
On April 10, 25 young people from St. Charles Borromeo celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation at Sacred Heart Cathedral. How exiting it was to see these candidates, after months of preparation, joyfully reaffirm their baptismal promises and be anointed with the Oil of Chrism.
Congratulations to all the newly confirmed! Your energy and enthusiasm will bring new life to all of us!
