Dear Sir,

Rate contract for Car Seat Covers, Upholstery and other accessories - reg.

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research intends to finalize a rate contract for one year for supply of Car Seat Covers, Upholstery and other accessories for its vehicles. Sealed quotations are hereby invited on behalf of Secretary, ICAR for the same. You are requested to submit your lowest rates in respect of each item indicated in the enclosed Annexure-1. You are requested to submit your quotations so as to reach the undersigned latest by 3.00 PM on 02.02.2012. The quotations should be superscribed with the "QUOTATIONS FOR THE UPHOLSTERY/leAR SEAT COVERS/ ACCESSORIES" and may be dropped in the Tender Box kept outside Room No.205, Krishi Bhawan. The quotations shall be opened at 3.30 PM on 02.02.2012 in Room No.2, Ground Floor, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi - 110 001 when the bidder or his/her representative may also like to be present.

2. The Annual Rate contract to be finalized shall be governed by the following terms and conditions:-

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. The contract shall remain in force for a period of one year from the date of award of contract.

2. An earnest money of Rs.2000/- (Rupees two thousand only) in the form of Demand Draft/Pay Order in favor of Secretary, Indian Council of Agricultural Research payable at New Delhi is required to be deposited with the quotations. The earnest money will be returned after finalization of rate contract.

3. The quotations without earnest money will not be considered at al!. 4. The rates should be quoted in words as well as figures. 5. In case the quotations accepted by the' Council are not adhered to by the

concerned firm, its earnest money will be forfeited. 6. The successful firm will be required to deposit a security amount of Rs.5000/­

(Rupees five thousand only) within a period of one week of ac;ceptance of the contract in cash with Cashier, ICAR, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi.

7. Security will be forfeited if the firm fails to discharge its obligation. Security will be refunded after successful completion of the rate contract.

8. The Council may reject all or any of the quotations without assigning any reason thereof.

9. The rate contract may be awarded in whole or in part. Decision of the Council in this regard shall be final and binding.

10. Sales Tax/other levies to be charged should be specifically indicated separately. 11. Decision of Secretary, ICAR shall be binding on all issues relating to the rate

contract.

The above terms and conditions may please be adhered to while submitting the quotation.
