How can it be sure to guarantee a quality value that is suitablefor the company name of CQV Inc. named as the creation of a quality value?

Q1. What Quality means at CQV Inc.?A1. If R&D is future values of our company, Quality is past and current values of ours. Because our

product is the only way that customers evaluate our company, we believe they could estimate

the future of our company using our previous products in the case of talking about the products.

Quality of our company includes not only ‘comprehensive quality’ of TQC considered as of quality

assurance, also ‘living quality’ of our individual staffs.

Q2. How do you take care of quality control in the product processing?A2. It consists of tests of raw materials minimum two times and also intermediate and final tests of

products with three processing at least. With a quality control and a system of data based from

this series of tests,

1. We achieved the product management through the statistical processing control.

2. We are immediately responding to customers with a management system according to

ISO 9001 authorization.

3. The differences of product lots have been minimized.

Q3. What kinds of mind do the quality managers have?A3. - The quality of our products is my pride. (Donghwan Lim)

- My job is to find out incorrect products. The rate of incorrect products in 2007 was 5% but my goal

this year is to find them out as rate of 10%. (Junyung Jeong)

INDUSTRIAL USE

1. REFLEXREFLEX using the synthetic mica consists of plate crystals possessing

the ratio of square shape and is the effect pigment that a refractive

light caused from the difference of refraction rates between plate

crystals and substrates shows the rainbow colors like a natural pearl

after generating the interference.

2. TONOSTonos can create pure white mass tone that cannot be seen with other

silver white pigments and bestow powerful luster and high brightness.

3. AXIONAXION is a new type of product that uses the newly developed

material of platy glass flakes. With a high disposition, axion controls

the diffusion of light therefore producing a high level of gloss and

vivid chroma that can not be seen with other pearl effect pigments.

4. CHAOSChaos is a new pearlescent pigment that is a Synthetic Mica-based

effect pigment to produce high chroma, a strong sparkling effect and

color purity.

5. REFLEX COLOR PEARLRC is a Two-Color Effect pigment that has evenly coated the pearles-

cent pigment surface with pre-dispersed organic or inorganic

colorant.

COSMETIC USE

1. COSMETICACosmetica is the pearl is the pearl glossy pigments which can be

applicable to cosmetics that produced with the synthetic mica using

refined materials. Also it is nontoxic pigments with the excellent

chemical stability and is very suitable for cosmetics.

2. SOLIENSSoliens is a new effect pigment which unlike the previous interfer-

ence color, and can produce a never before seen very high glossy and

chroma.

3. SKOLORSkolor is a coating product that has absorbed the Synthetic Mica

Pearl Pigment which has a higher clarity than natural mica. It is a

pigment that can display two colors, externally showing the Absorp-

tion color and shows the interference color at certain angles.

4. GLAREGlare is a new generation pigment that can project a high level of

shine and unique interference color with a smooth and thin feel that

has never been seen before.

5. SPECTRASpectra optic series are alumina based effect pigments. The new type

of substrate for the spectra optic pigments enables a soft focus effect

comparing with all the other pigment.

AUTOMOTIVE USE

1. AUTOMOTIVEBased on the pearl gloss pigments using the synthetic mica, Automo-

tive product is not only the product that had improved UV safety and

weatherability but also the product that had enhanced the commer-

cial according to controlling the photo-enzyme activation of TiO2 and

improving the compatibility of waterborne system.

2. AUTOMOTIVE CHAOSDue to the high gloss and the high saturation of CHAOS series, CQV

Automotive CHAOS is the product that enhanced UV safety and

weatherability as well as the product that improved the photo-

enzyme activation control of TiO2, the commercial by the compatibil-

ity of waterborne system, and the prevention of light scattering and

its working by the critical size control.
