EMPLOIS:
L'expression de be going to sert souvent à exprimer l'intention la r!solution de faire "uel"ue
chose des plans fixes dans l'avenir # pr!dire un !v!nement ou une certaine action "ui est sur
le point d'avoir lieu$
La forme affirmative
• On a : sujet + be going to + base verbale. L'auxiliaire be se conjuge au présent. Going to et
la base verbale restent invariables.
Ex: I am going to hire a car. They are going to play chess.
La forme n!%ative
• On a : sujet + auxiliaire be + not + going to + base verbale.
Ex: He is not going to break the plates.
La forme int!rro%ative
• On a : auxiliaire be + sujet + going to + base verbale.
Ex: Is he going to win?

EMPLOIS:
Le utur progressi sert à exprimer "u'une action sera en train de se passer à un certain moment
dans l'avenir.
Ex: This time next week I will be eating with John.
l sert également pour suggrer ue ce "ui va se produire sera tout # fait naturel et pr!visible.
Ex: They will be going to Italy as "s"al for their holiays.
