CLIENT OVERVIEW AND BACKGROUND

Client was looking to highlight and share the beauty and diversity of Indian

culture to the global audience (primarily parents of Indian origin who maybe living

outside India).

Client already had strong background in fashion/retail/kids ecommerce

marketing and was looking at developing a system through which they can reach

to their target audience effectively and much user engaging way.

We understand in today’s world busy parents allow kids to enjoy apps, however

they very carefully choose the app that they expose their kids to. Signity Solutions

recommended client to develop an interactive native app for iPad and iPhone

devices.

As the targeted audience of this app will be kids’ age 0-5 years, so we ensured to

comply with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), can engage user

with minimal parent’s involvement and most importantly the app should be

intuitive and interesting the end user.


BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS

Based upon our recommendation client agreed on our initial solution. We agreed

to develop an app which will include 3 animated characters through which kids

will be learning about Indian culture.

The client wants’ to bring Indian culture experience to the kids age 0-5 years.

Some of the key objectives of this app were:

The app will be dress up theme based.

All environments will be having interactivity and touch element.

The app will be having 3 screen toggle play.

User can toggle between the 2 boxes.

2 boxes will be filled with varied fabrics and accessories to dress up the

character of their choice.

Drag and drop option integration.

Each character should be animated in such a way that it resembles

preschooler standing.

The character should animate in such a way that it can feel the presence of

user there.

Anytime user dresses up the character they give the user an encouraging

reaction, either as a sound or gesture based.


CHALLENGES & OUR APPROACH

The client wanted to develop all new mobile channels for their targeted

consumers. To meet the above given clients requirements Signity Solutions first

worked on identifying the optimum solution which should comply with COPPA,

integrate high standard animation and UI/UX elements which should be totally in-

line with the kids app usability pattern.

Signity Solutions initiated with developing the app architecture. Once app

architecture is approved we started working upon developing the app according

to the app architecture.

Signity Solutions tested the app under various testing process to ensure the app

has no bugs and fully compatible with the targeted devices. Assisting client with

app approval process, after successfully launching the app we created a strategic

post launch technical support process for the client.
