Audience: The target age group is between 13-24.Genre: Hip-hop, R&B and rap.

Masthead is covered by the image which shows the statement that the celebrity is in charge .

Celebrity endorsement, this makes the audience want to read more, possibly because it their idol or want to learn more about the artist.

Rhetorical questions help with direct address, it makes the audience feel like they have been personally invited to be apart of the magazine.

The Direct address entices the audience to read the article and makes them feel invited. Although the eye contact is friendly, the piercing lips of the model makes her look stern, as if she is telling the audience they have to read this magazine.

Anchorage text is next to the model to portray that the article is about her.

Cover lines make the audience want to read more of the contents.

Strap line is above everything so that it doesn’t take any attention away from the main image but is clearly seen.

The 3 colour rule is used so that the audience feel comfortable with the magazine. If anymore colours were used then there would be too many which would make the audience overwhelmed and not interested.

Audience: Teenagers and above who are influenced by rock. Statistics show it is mainly men between the ages of 17-22.Genre: Rock and metal.

Title is using a shattered font so express their music style and how loud they are.

Anchorage text is white to that it has synergy with the title. It is also next to the main image to compliment the picture

Cover lines, including acronyms to appeal to the target audience.

Strapline is above the title to not take any attention from the main image.

Celebrity endorsement is used which matches the genre of the magazine, this is so that the target audience will see the artist and be intrigued to read more.

Model is gazing away to create a sense of mystery, possibly about the magazine or the band.

Audience: The audience is most known by men the median age of 35. This magazine is for middle to upper class people.Genre: Rock, blues and country.

Title is covered by the model to show the importance of their presence. The title is red while the rest are all light colours, this emphasises the title.

Cover model is Taylor Swift, this would make good sales for their magazine as she is a well known pop artist and at this point in her career she was changing her music genre. This enticed the audience to know more about Taylors new lifestyle.

Cover lines are in black and white to compliment the background and the model’s clothing, they are written in a smaller font that the anchorage text so that they don’t take the main attention away.

Anchorage text is on the left in a column form to compliment Taylor Swifts figure. This is written in black with the white froth of the sea background to help it stand out.
