7 Hear my voice, LORD, when I call; have mercy on me and answer me.8 Come, says my heart, seek Gods face; your face, LORD, do I seek!9 Do not hide your face from me; do not repel your servant in anger. You are my help; do not cast me off; do not forsake me, God my savior!13 But I believe I shall enjoy the LORDS goodness in the land of the living.14 Wait for the LORD, take courage; be stouthearted, wait for the LORD!

I the middle of the night parents awake to the sound of one of their children screaming.They run to the room to find the child sitting up in their bed and continuing to scream.Whats wrong, asked mother, please tell me so that I can help you.Eventually the child settles down enough to explain, Its dark and Im afraid because I cant see.The mother thinks for a moment and then gives the child the perfect explanation.Dont fear the darkness, God is here with you all the time.What the mother said conquered the childs fear with the trust in the Lord to always be there when we need Him.We all have darkness enter our lives, but the light of God will lead us through the dark tunnel of life into the eternal light of heaven.
