TIME FOR A CHANGE

They say that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. But can moving house reallysolve your problems?We asked two people from different parts of the UK why they decided to try a new way of life.

MATTHEW LANGWere going to sell our house in the city and move to a beautiful village in the mountains- Ive got a job as a National Park manager there. We want an easier life and I want to spend more time with myfamily. I really enjoy spending time with my children, but I only see them on Sundays at themoment. I work six days because you need a lot of money to live in a city everythings veryexpensive here. But the kids arent very happy about moving. They love living in the city, but mywife and I think the country is safer for them. Of course, teenagers like going out on their own, but itcan be quite dangerous around here, especially at night.

STUARD REED

I moved to the city because I needed to get a job. There were no jobs for me in the country, butwhen I moved her e I found one in the first week. People say its more expensive in the city, but youdont need a car here and cars are very expensive. I live in an old part of the city and I can walk towork or go by tube. So I think generally the cost of living is aboutthe same. But Id like to go back tothe country one day. Sometimes I hate living here- Its dirty, crowded and really noisy at night.When Im old, Id love to have a little place somewhere by the sea where its really quite.

My friend is the most inteligent in the entire world, He's very tall and funny, her favoritemusic is rock and roll by The Beatles, He loves to eat french fries speciallly whith very muchsauce. Her girlfriend is Roco, and are very loving.

What do you usually do at the weekends?

Well i try to have fun as much as i can especially on saturday's. I hang out with my friends,we go have lunch, ride our bikes, go to movies, go have drink somewhere in a disco and soon. And the thing that I avoid doing in the weekend is sleeping for long hours.

What are you going to do for your next birthday?

On my next birthday and carries out a party should invite all my university friends and somerelatives, the great pass.

What did you do last weekend?

Last weekend I had a great time. On Saturday morning, I went to a turistic center with myfamily. After that,we visited the grandmother. Next, we went to a very famous restaurantand ate very well. Finally, we took a taxi and we headed home. Sunday we went to Masswith the family, was also a day of reflection. It was a fun and interesting weekend!

Describe your bedroom.

The walls of my bedroom are light blue, my bed cover is a gray color, the rug is black andwhite, all the furniture and trim is white. On one wall there is a simple shelf withphotographs of my family, one wall has a pretty tapestry, and another wall is devoted to allthe bands and music that i love. I really like my room, it is so relaxing with all the blue andwhite
