2D Seismic QC is an integrated Geo Mappermodule providing:

2D Seismic QC

Data importing Geo Suite offers acomprehensive inventory of 2D seismicnavigation data exchange formats, whichinclude:

UKOOA P1/78, P1/84, P1/90,

SEG P1/P2,

SPS (r and s),

User-defined text wizard

CRS definition - all geodetic parameters arederived from EPSG database via the Geo DBmodule.

All data is internally stored in the referencedsystem in which it was imported. However,project data can be viewed in a user selectedCRS. On-the-fly coordinate transformations areprovided to facilitate this process.

A late binding coordinate transformationarchitecture is adopted. This allows greaterflexibility when assigning a transformationmodel to the project data.

Statistical Testing - A series of statistical QCtests are run to determine potential errors inthe data. The tests include:

Duplicate line names, positions and events

Outliers / blunders (spikes)

Missing events (source / receivers /CDP related)

Event, azimuth, distance, timing andincrement errors

User defined tolerance values can be set for

the tests.

Tabular and graphical views of the QC reportsare provided. The tables cover line summaries,line statistics and point summaries. There areadditional tables to view file headers and thedata audit trail.
