MARION THOMAS LOGSDON Dr. Marion omas Logsdon, 87, went to be with e Lord on Nov. 19, 2016. He was the son of the late T. Brown and Lor- raine Logsdon. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, David and Wendell Logsdon. He was a member of Stithton Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and music leader. He was a chiropractor in Radcliff for some 35 years and participated in many community activities including being a member of the Radcliff City Council, chamber of commerce and Rotary Clubs. He also was a past master and member of Vine Grove Masonic Lodge 603. Katherine Lee Al-bright, 84, died Nov. 19, 2016 at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab in Hardinsburg, Ky.

She was born Dec. 12, 1932 to the late Burh-man and Blonnie Belle Doan. She was preceded

in death by her husband Brad Albright.She is survived by her children Bradley Al-

bright, Brenda Norman, and Karen Kinnison all of Irvington, Ky.; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Nov. 23, 2016 at Alexander Funeral Home. Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Irvington.

REBECCA JEAN ALBRIGHT

Rebecca Jean Albright, 57, of Custer, Ky., died Nov. 20, 2016, at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Myrtle McGuffin Miller.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Al-bright; a stepson, Steven A. Albright; sister, Vanita Threlkel; brother, Tim Miller, niece, Chelsy and two nephews, Nick and Sean.

A funeral service was held on Nov. 26, 2016 at the Alexander Funeral Home.

There will be a private burial at the conve-nience of the family at a later time.

HERBERT MARTIN ANDERSON

SFC (Ret.) Herbert Martin “Andy” Ander-son, 80, of Brandenburg, Ky., passed away on Nov. 24, 2016, at Signature Healthcare at North Hardin, in Radcliff, Ky.

He was retired from the United States Army after

serving his country in both Korea and Vietnam; was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church; and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Theresa Council 2282.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ines Anderson; his son, Herbert Martin Anderson, Jr.; and his parents, Herbert M. and Mary Lu-cille Lagarde Anderson.

He is survived by his son, Roger (Patti) An-derson, Fairfield, Ohio; two brothers, Etienne LaBlanc, Fla., and David LaBlanc, La.; a sister, Mary Wise, Fla.; and his special friends, Mi-chael, Thelma, Stuart, Lucy, Angelina and Ra-chel Thomas.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Nov. 29, 2016, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial, with military honors, was held Nov. 30 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Ky.

Carolyn Belle Board, 87, of Irvington, died on Nov. 19, 2016 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Board, sister, Ada Jean “Patsy” Ingle, and a brother, William “Billy” Stith.

She is survived by her husband Nelson Board, four sons; Ronald Nelson (Donna), Jerry Eu-gene, Gary Wayne, David Ray Board. A daugh-ter-in-law; Ruth Board, eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held on Nov. 26, 2016 at the Alexander Funeral Home, with burial following in the Bethel Cemetery.

Bruce Elliott Bryant, 53, of Radcliff, Ky passed away Nov. 22, 2016, at Hardin Memorial Hos-pital, Elizabethtown, Ky.

He was an avid hunter and a veteran of the United States Army and the United States Marine Corps.

Survivors include two daughters, Christina Marie Bryant of Wash., Amber Marie Yates of Radcliff, Ky.; granddaughter, Makayla Jordyn Isabel Harris; three stepchildren, Andrew Casey, Matthew Casey and Darian Casey all of Texas; his father, Alex Bryant, Jr. and his wife, Diane of Vine Grove, Ky.; his mother, Betty June Bryant of Radcliff, Ky.; brother, Scott Bryant of Cecilia, Ky.; five nieces and nephews, Brooklynne, Emily, Ethan, Gavin and Gage.

Graveside service with military honors were held on Nov. 29, 2016 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, Ky.

Kenneth Jack Basham, 47, of Radcliff, Ky., passed away Nov. 15, 2016, at his residence.

He loved to be out-doors, hunting, fishing, or just hiking around. He loved being with his fam-ily and friends.

Billy Joe Herald, 59, of Muldraugh, Ky., passed away Nov. 23, 2016, at Hardin Memorial Hos-pital, Elizabethtown, Ky.

He was the former owner of J&R Wrecker Service.

ard, 95, wife of the late James T. Howard for 72 years, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Nov. 19, 2016.

A native of Nicholas County, she was born February 10, 1921 to the late John and Mary

Ritchie Livingood.She was an employee of Jockey International

for 26 years, and a member of the Carlisle Chris-tian Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a daughter, Linda Mitchell, a granddaughter, Holly Jean Howard, a great-grandson, Justin Howard, two brothers, Leonard and Roy B. Livingood and Margaret Wagoner.

Survivors include her children James G. (Joy) Howard, Johnny David (Ruby) Howard, Danny (Phyllis) Howard, Ricky (Joyce) Howard, and Rose (Robert A.) Brady, all of Carlisle, Gary (Sandra) Howard, of Bourbon County, and Mary (Henry) Banks and Patricia Leet (Tom, deceased), of Vine Grove; a brother: Johnny (Nancy) Livegood, of Carlisle, a sister: Eliza-beth (Thomas) Hughes, and son-in-law, Beaty Mitchell, both of Cowan; 26 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grand-children.

Services were held on Nov. 23 at Carlisle Christian Church. Burial Followed in the Carl-isle Cemetery.

Zeta Estella Kersey, 86, of Radcliff, Ky., died Nov. 21, 2016 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Ky.

She was a charter member of Radcliff First Christian Church. She and her husband were former owners of Kersey Shell in Radcliff. She spent many years working for Gold City Realty as a property manager.

She was predeceased in death by husband, Oval Kersey; a son, Wayne Anderson; her par-ents, Estell Witten and Audrey Henderson Wit-ten; her step-father, Bennie Witten; a sister, Inez Moss and a brother, Elton Witten.

She is survived by three sons, Michael Wit-ten of Louisville, Ky., Donnie (Janet) Kersey of Georgetown, Ky., Greg (Jerrie) Kersey of Rad-cliff, a brother, Bennie Melvin (Lucille) Wit-ten of Cecilia, Ky.; a sister-in-law Mary Witten of Tenn.; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

MARION THOMAS LOGSDON

Dr. Marion Thomas Logsdon, 87, went to be with The Lord on Nov. 19, 2016.

He was the son of the late T. Brown and Lor-raine Logsdon. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, David and Wendell Logsdon.

He was a member of Stithton Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and music leader. He was a chiropractor in Radcliff for some 35 years and participated in many community activities including being a member of the Radcliff City Council, chamber of commerce and Rotary Clubs. He also was a past master and member of Vine Grove Masonic Lodge 603.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Alma Logsdon; two sons, Thomas (Jana) Logsdon of Paducah, Ky., and Mark (Janis) Logsdon of Lawrenceburg, Ky.; one daughter, Lisa (Gary) Curry of Shelbyville, Ky.; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Marvin Logsdon of Radcliff and Robert Logs-don of Bowling Green.

The funeral service was held Nov. 23 at Stith-ton Baptist Church with Pastor Denver Cope-land officiating. Burial followed at North Har-din Memorial Gardens in Radcliff.

Michael Henry Mat-thews, age 58, of Branden-burg, Ky., passed away on Nov. 21, 2016, at his resi-dence.

He had many interests, but he loved to play basket-ball, church softball and vol-leyball. He was affectionate-

ly known as the “King of Horseshoes.” He loved being on the lake and anything outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Henry

and Nellie Matthews, Brandenburg, Ky.; his fiancé, Terri Stowers, Brandenburg, Ky.; his sister, Debra Earle, Louisville, Ky.; his brother, Kevin (Debbie) Matthews, Elizabethtown, Ky.; his dear cousin, Eddie (Emma) Matthews, Louisville, Ky.; and all of his spe-cial Doe Valley Lake friends.

Joyce Ann Mattingly, 60 , passed away on Nov. 24, 2016.

She was a Navy vet-eran, a member of Ashby Lane Baptist Church and a retired supervisor for MSD.

Shelvy Marie Karnes Miller, 77 , of Hephzi-bah, Ga. died on Nov. 16, 2016.

She is proceded in death by her mother, father, and husband.

She is survived by her children, William Henry Barrett Jr. and Shelvy Marie Miller. Also by her grandchildren, Jonathan Atkinson, Samantha Atkinson, Jennie Anderson and Katie Bearden.

WILLIAM E. “BILLY” NORTON

William E. “Billy” Norton, 90, born and lived in Webster, Ky., all his life, except during his Army service in WWII.

He departed this earthly life for his heavenly home, Nov. 19, 2016, with his family by his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ed-gar and Lottie Norton, sister, Shirley Burke, and two grandsons, John Ambrose III and Anthony Metcalfe.

Survived by his beloved wife and soulmate Dorothy, children; Robert (Gibby) Horsley, Wayne (Nancy) Horsley, Betty Jean (Jimmy) Metcalfe, Lois (Jesse) Pile, Elizabeth (John-De-ceased) Ambrose, Barbara (Marvin-Deceased) Marksberry, Curtis (Stephanie) Horsley, Sheila (Rick) Haley, a Sister Jean Shacklette. Grand-children; Timmy and Tracy Metcalfe, Jenni-fer Brewer, Kathy Dean, Kim Sutton, Michael Horsley, Carrie Ambrose-Smith, William Ma-huron, Lindsey Gaverich, Brian and Kori Haley, great grandchildren and great great grandchil-dren. His beloved pets Tinkerbell and Buddy.

Cremation has been chosen by Billy and Dor-othy and ashes combined at her death and then placed at Garfield Cemetery.

Henry Ernest Rowch, 69, of Radcliff, Ky., died Nov. 17, 2016, at his home.

He was a retired Chief Personnelman in the US Navy serving more than 20 years. He was a former city manager of McCamey, TX.

He is survived by his wife, Conchita Basilan Rowch of Radcliff; daughter, Catherine (Jeb) Medley of Owensboro, Ky.; a son, Jeffrey Rowch of Radcliff; mother, Maxcine Rowch of Midland, Texas; a sister Doris (Butch) Cooper of Midland; six grandchildren, Hallie Medley, Parker Medley, Tamra Rowch, Leigha Rowch, Miranda Rowch and Samantha Prince.

A memorial service was held on Nov. 22, 2016, at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff, with a committal service held on Nov. 23, at the Ken-tucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff with military honors.

Alice Virginia Singleton, 98, of Brandenburg, Ky., passed away on Nov. 24, 2016, at the Elizabethtown Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She worked as a welder during World War II; she loved to dance; and she al-

ways loved homecomings and cooking.She was preceded in death by her husband, Colum-

bus Singleton; a daughter, Jo Ann Singleton; five sis-ters; and three brothers.

David A. Nall, 28, of Elizabethtown, Ky., died Nov. 15, 2016, at Hardin Memorial Hos-pital.

He was a graduate of John Hardin High School and the University of Kentucky. He was an admirer of all animals.

He is survived by his mother, Lou Ann Nall, and his father, Donald Nall, both of Elizabeth-town; a grandmother, Chieko Davis of Radcliff, Ky.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The memorial service was held on Nov. 19, 2016, at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, in Radcliff with Rev. Doug Stilwell officiating. Burial followed in North Hardin Memorial Gardens.
