Is one of the most important experiences you can provide for both you and your puppy! We teach you both valuable skills and give youall the information you need about raising your new addition. Skillscovered are Sit, Drop, Stand, Come (Recall), Focus, Social Walking, On/O, Shake, Rollover. We also discuss issues such as leadership and the consistency we need for correct learning. Most importantlyof all, your puppy receives controlled socialisation in the early stages of his life which is critical for a balanced, happy dog. Puppiesare eligible to start from 8 weeks of age through to 20 weeks maximum at the completion of the course.Proof of vaccination is essential.

From Beginners to Advanced, our Group lessons are small and intimate. (No more than 12 per class) With this format, we can giveyou the attention you need, so you can see results quickly. We cantake your dog through to the level of training you wish, providing that you follow our teaching philosophies. While attendance at “Puppy Kinder” is desirable, a dog at any age can be taught obedience, in fact, they LOVE it! Obedience classes give you the opportunity to really communicate with your dog for the rst time. You’ll literally see the “light bulb” of learning switch on! Classes also incorporate all dierent sorts of socialisation and fun. (Otherdogs, strange people, noises, smells, sounds, including thunder/reworks, anything we can think of )...sometimes it’s the most simple of things that can elicit a reaction from your dog! Anindividual consultation MUST be booked prior to commencinggroup lessons.

We believe at Pawsability, that learning MUST incorporate fun!By introducing agility into the training regime, your leadership skills are tested while also helping to cement the bond you are trying to create. Use of this equipment is for FUN / BONDING purposes only and not for competition. Equipment provided is as follows: A- Frame, dog walk, see-saw, hurdles, tunnels, pause tables, weave poles and tyre jumps. Agility is available at least once a month for dogs who have attended at least 2 training sessions.Appropriate footwear is a must, as always when attending “Pawsability” training.

Many problems can be solved simply by regular attendance atobedience to cement in the mind of your dog who is his leader and where he is situated in the pack. Unfortunately, there are many cases, where situations have developed over time and itisn’t easy to x without professional help. Cases are assessed ona case by case basis and a comprehensive plan of action is compiled for you. Pawsability does NOT take on severe aggressioncases, but would be happy to refer you on to specialists in this area.

For further details, pls refer to web-site,phone or e-mail

Pawsability oers you a “Boutique” type of Dog Training. From our“Puppy Kinder” through to “Advanced” you receive expert adviceon helping your “best friend” to become an acceptable and muchloved member of the household.

Our classes are small and intimate giving both of you the individual attention you deserve (No more than 12 per class). Training plans are given on a one to one basis, so we can worktogether to get the best results!

We introduce ALL manner of socialisation for our clients... Noises, people, surfaces, machinery, moving objects, thunder etc. Learningis also “fun” with agility equipment provided at least once a month.

Pawsability operates from a “clubhouse” at Morris Reserve, PascoeVale (Scout Hall). (Please refer to Map) The “clubhouse” has anintimate appeal where the owners can have a cuppa, look throughour library of books and magazines and relax before and after thetraining sessions. Toilets are available in the Scout Hall. Children’splayground equipment is available in the park.

If you and your dog are looking for more intense training, particularly if there are behavioural issues, a private lesson is theway to go. This gives you both one on one advice on how to correct problems faster. Also, if you haven’t been able to attendour “Puppy Kinder”, you MUST book an individual consultation. The trainer is then able to explain our training methods in detailand give you much needed information so you’re ready to go when you start the group lessons. This also gives the trainer a chance to evaluate from the start the relationship you have withyour dog, which saves a lot of time in the long run. Package dealswith Group Lessons are available.

A big part of getting successful results is making sure your dogreceives a good amount of exercise. The walk itself is SO importantfor your dogs’ environmental enrichment. By taking them for dailywalks, they not only shed excess energy, but store information about the places they’ve been in their nasal passages to “read”like a newspaper later on! If your dog never leaves your house, you’re depriving them of this much needed stimulation and behavioural problems may occur. Individual or Group walks are available, with a QUALIFIED trainer. Therefore, your dog will belearning at the same time! We can also incorporate beach visitsif desired! (e-tag fees apply)

Is a wonderful alternative for busy people on the go! My two wonderful dogs, Zoe and Zak, help me so much in teaching newdogs manners and the rules of life! At home with me, your dogs are given not only the benet of Zoe and Zak, but my individualcare and attention. Training is on a minute by minute basis. This way I can treat problems on the spot and put an end to the annoying habits such as barking, chewing, scratching at the doorand, of course, toilet training! So many problems, too many to mention!! Limited space is available, and like my classes, which I insist on keeping small, I like to give attention to detail. The dogslive inside with me and are taught from the start where and how they are expected to behave in our world.
