I feel truly blessed to be a part of their journey and am excited to see where they will all head into the future. I feel humbled to be a part of the community that cares for and educates these young people. I am humbled as I see how much I can learn from them. On the weekend, I had the privilege of attending the baptism of a number of young people. These people were ex-students and current students who have chosen to live their lives as followers of Jesus. It was such a blessing to be there and witness this new generation rising up. Throughout my time at NT Christian College, I have been impressed by the willingness of our students to engage in a variety of activities that promote God, seek justice, and bring hope. I have seen joy and love and it gives me great pleasure to know that I am surrounded by History Makers. “Well it's true today that when people stand With the fire of God, and the truth in hand We'll see miracles, we'll see angels sing We'll see broken hearts making history Yes it's true and I believe it We're living for you” History Makers - Delirious As we strive to continue to build a culture of faith, discipline and character, it is a pleasure to walk with you and the students. I am keen to focus on the God of all creation and to work to develop an understanding of the gifts that we all bring to His Kingdom. “For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, in all, and living through all. However, he has given each one of us a special gift through the generosity of Christ.” Ephesians 4:4-6. With this focus in mind, I look forward to ending this year and seeing another generation moving out to take their place as History Makers, Hope Givers, and Faith Builders. Thank you for the part that you have played in these journeys.

When I look out over our student body, I am in awe of the diversity and character of the group. I feel truly blessed to be a part of their journey and am excited to see where they will all head into the future.

Marrara On ShowThe College was the place to be last Friday night!

With superb background entertainment all evening, delicious food available for dinner and stalls to browse through, families were not disappointed. The jumping castle and obstacle course provided delight to over 200 children – that’s a lot of happy squeals! The Art Exhibition was another astounding display of community talent and the class displays showed off all our students’ hard work.

Thank you to all our wonderful sponsors featured below who contributed to the Silent Auction.

We loved sharing our College with you all and a big thank you for celebrating with us at Marrara on Show 2019.

Check out some of the photos!

Did you know that…

- Geometry is the basis for soccer ball design?- Angles can help you maximize the distance of your throw in Javelin and the chance of a goal conversion in Rugby?- Equations can help you master the perfect pirouette in dance?

These are just some of the discoveries we made before refuelling with a special sports lunch and receiving well-earned show bags and prizes at this year’s Maths in Sport Day for Year 6 and 7 students.

Thanks to all the teachers and parents who helped make this event a great success.

"It was great learning how fast we could run 100m and seeing who was the closest to Usain Bolt. It was also good that we got to learn where we slowed down, so we can improve and get faster. Overall, it was fun!" - Lara. "It was fun seeing how far we could throw the vortex and learning what the best angle was for the furthest distance. Someone got a whopping 59 metres!" - Marcus.
