This prize of U.S. $XKlO was awarded for the best oral presentation at a general session. The prize was awarded to:

Dr. A. Penna Cytotoxic T lymphocytes recognize an IRA-A2 restricted epitope within the hepatitis B virus nucleocapsid (Abstr. No. 225).

The prize was handed over by the chairman of the prize selection committee and Dr. J. Albrecht from Schering-Plough In-

ternational.

Sorin Prize

This prize of U.S. $3WlQ was awarded for the best poster presentation to:

Dr. T. Roskams Cells with neuroendocrine features in regenerating human liver (Abstr. No. 253).

The prize was handed over by the chairman of the prize selection committee and Dr. 0. Crivelli from Sorin Biotnedica S.p.a.
