Rope CCinch SStyles. Roping CCinches are recommendedfor roping and heavy use as they distribute the load of the saddle

across a wider area of the horse’s body. Cutting CCinches are for heavy tomedium use on a horse that requires greater range of motion and flexibility.Riding aand TTrail Cinches are made of fewer strands of rope for light to medi-um duty and is less noticeable to a young or untrained horse.

Rope CCinch MMaterials. 100% Mohair is thefinest Cinch material available. Mohair Blend consists of 25% Mohair

and 25% Wool and 50% Polypropylene and Rayon. Wool BBlend is acombination of 20% Wool, 40% Rayon and 40% Poly (polypropylene).Polypropylene is a man-made fiber and is generally used in our lighter weight and less expensive products.

Neoprene is used in areas where the climate is more temperateand is available in smooth or sharkskin finishes.

Fleece and Felt Cinches and Girths are used to prevent galling and are an excellent choice for colder climates or tender horses.

Buckles are available in Stainless Steel, Solid Brass or Nickel Plated.Please see chart below.

The handicraft is difficult, time consuming and requires a considerable amount of skill and patience to maintain a superior level of quality.

Mohair comes from the Angora goat. The Angora goat originated in the district of Angora in Asia Minor.The Angora dates back prior to early biblical history. The most valuable characteristic of the Angora as com-pared to other goats is the value of the mohair that is clipped. The average goat in the U.S. shears approxi-mately 5.3 pounds of mohair per shearing and are usually sheared twice a year. The mohair is very similar towool in chemical composition but differs from wool in that it is has a much smoother surface and very thin,smooth scale. The Angora goat is among the most delicate of our domesticated animals.
