2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL STORE FURNITURE ITEMS AS SHOWN IN STORED FURNITURE REQUIREMENTS.

3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL DISPOSE OF ALL OF THE OTHER ITEMS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MATTRESSES, WARDROBES, MIRRORS, AREA RUGS, DRAPERIES, AND COMFORTERS AT A PERMITTED OFF-SITE SOLID WASTE LANDFILL.

STORED FURNITURE REQUIREMENTS:1. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL STORE THE FOLLOWING SLEEPING ROOM

FURNITURE ITEMS: METAL SECRETARIES, METAL RACKS, DESKS, AND NIGHT TABLES.

2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PHOTOGRAPH, TAG, RECORD THE LOCATION OF, REMOVE FROM THE BUILDING, AND STORE EACH PIECE OF FURNITURE LISTED ABOVE.

3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE AN ELECTRONIC COPY OF THE FURNITURE CONDITION PICTURES AND FURNITURE LOCATIONS TO THE GOVERNMENT ON CD.

4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT EACH ITEM REMOVED FROM DAMAGE. 5. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL STORE THE FURNITURE IN A HUMIDITY

CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT, FOR EXAMPLE: OFF-SITE STORAGE AND/OR ON-SITE CONEX BOXES WITH BUILT-IN DEHUMIDIFICATION AND/OR DESSICCANT SYSTEMS OR OTHER SUITABLE METHOD THAT MEETS THESE OBJECTIVES. ALL ASSOCIATED COSTS FOR ANY OF THE SYSTEM(S) SELECTED BY THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE INCLUDED IN THE BID PACKAGE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: RENTAL, PURCHASE, TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM, INSTALLATION, MAINTENANCE, REPAIRS, DISPOSAL OF ITEMS, ETC.

6. MAINTAIN RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND VENTILATION LEVELS THROUGHOUT THE LIFE OF THE STORAGED ITEMS IN SUCH A MANNER TO PREVENT THE DEGRADATION OF THE STORED FURNITURE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: AFFECTING ITS WOOD COMPONENTS, RUST OF ITS METAL COMPONENTS, MOLD GROWTH, ETC. ANY DEGRADED FURNITURE ITEM SHALL BE REPLACED IN KIND BY THE CONTRACTOR AT NO COST TO THE GOVERNMENT.

7. CONEX CONTAINERS CAN BE RENTED OR PURCHASED, SHALL BE WATER TIGHT AND IN GOOD CONDITION TO ALLOW THE DEHUMIDIFICATION OR DESSICCANT SYSTEMS TO OPERATE OPTIMALLY.

8. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE POWER TO OPERATE EQUIPMENT AS NECESSARY. ALL ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL APPLICABLE CODES AND BASE STANDARDS.

9. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT FOR THE GOVERNMENT RECORDS ONLY THE PROPOSED EQUIPMENT ALONG WITH CALCULATIONS DEMONSTRATING COMPLIANCE WITH REQUIREMENTS. INCLUDE EQUIPMENT SIZING & PERFORMANCE, AND DISSECANT CHANGE FREQUENCY. THIS SUBMISSION SHALL NOT RELIEVE THE CONTRACTOR FROM COMPLIANCE WITH THE STATED REQUIREMENTS.

10. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE FROM THE MARINE CORE BASE AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE PROJECT ALL ITEMS USED FOR THE STORAGE OF FURNITURE, FOR INSTANCE: THE CONEX BOX CONTAINERS, ELECTRICAL ITEMS, POLES, GUY WIRES, ETC.

11. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL RETURN AREAS USED TO STORE FURNITURE TO ITS ORIGINAL CONDITION, FOR INSTANCE: GRASS, PAVING, STONE BASE, ETC. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE PICTURES OF THE EXISTING CONDITIONS BEFORE COMMENCEMENT OF THE WORK. THESE DOCUMENTS SHALL BE SENT TO THE COR AND KEPT ON SITE FILE TO BE USED AS NECESSARY THROUGHOUT THE LIFE OF THE PROJECT AND DURING THE FINAL INSPECTION.

6. FURNITURE - BASE BID: THE CONTRACTOR SHALL STORE ALL THE SLEEPING ROOM METAL SECRETARIES, METAL RACKS, METAL DESKS, AND NIGHT TABLES. SEE SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR STORED FURNITURE. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PLACE THESE ITEMS BACK IN EACH BUILDING SLEEPING ROOM OR AS DIRECTED BY ROICC PRIOR TO PROJECT COMPLETION.

7. FURNITURE - DEDUCT LINE ITEM: THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MOVE ALL THE SLEEPING ROOM METAL SECRETARIES, METAL RACKS, METAL DESKS, AND NIGHT TABLES TO THE TREATMENT & PROCESSING (T&P) LOT ON PINEY GREEN ROAD.
