The themed cruise event bringssingles from all over Malaysia on afive-day four-night discoveryjourney packed with activities likegames, dance classes, themed din-ners and personal developmentprogrammes.

From image consultancy torelationship workshops, to datingtips and etiquette, the cruise is anall-in-one relationship makeoverjourney that is designed toempower and equip participantswith the know-how and mindsetto prepare them for relationships,or even to heal from one.

SCASIA Sdn Bhd PR directorTimothy Low explained: “It is avacation-themed personal discov-ery cruise aimed at providing aplatform for the growing singlespopulation to meet ‘real’ peopleand see what they are like in ‘real’situations.

“It is often difficult to deter-mine what someone is like untilyou interact with them outside oftheir normal routine.

“Fun activities are always thebest way to get to know someone,make some new friends, or evenignite a romance.”

Low said that the programmeswere designed to transform peo-ple’s lives and getting participantsto put whatever they had learntinto action.

given a preview of the cruise dur-ing a workshop where the fourgurus gave them a taste of what toexpect.

Date coach Andrew Chow spokeabout the qualities a person wouldwant in a relationship and part-ner, and essential skills in com-munication.

The latter, he said, included notbringing up the past (especially indisagreements), maintaining eyecontact, always trying to makejoint decisions, always offeringthe other party the benefit ofdoubt, and concentrating on howone’s partner feels.

Chow’s session on the cruisewill include tips on making goodfirst impressions, making follow-ups and the next date, finding theright dating site, and online com-

munication.Image guru Murshidah Said will

be conducting a “personal imageempowerment” programme toguide participants on how theywant to “brand” themselves andhow they want to project theiridentity.

Love gurus and internationalreleasers Heiko and SelinaNiedermeyer demonstrated thepower of releasing using theLindwall Releasing Process.

Using the analogy of the humanheart being a computer hard drive,Heiko said painful experiencescan be like a virus that affects acomputer’s functions.

“There are good and bad expe-riences in life, but painful experi-ences are the ones that affect theheart. They exist in our subcon-scious mind, and continue toaffect our lives to some degree,”

he said.According to its founder’s web-

Malaysia’s first Singles CruiseAsia will set sail from Dec 6 to 10on board the Legend of the Seasby Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.

The route will be a round tripfrom Singapore, docking at PortKlang, Malaysia, and Phuket,Thailand, and back to Singapore.

It is open to single men andwomen aged 21 and above.
