Vs 18The five husbands constituted past sins. Here Jesus

confronted present sin.

II. HE CORRECTED HER WORSHIP

A. Worship in Spirit

Worship is attendanceBut it is more than attendance

B. Worship in truth

So that real worship must be around the truth of the Word of God

III. HE REVEALED HIS DIETY

True salvation is wrapped up in Jesus Christ.

• He lived a righteous life so we could possess his very own righteousness

• He died a substitutionary death, so that our sins could be paid for

• He lives today, making intercession for the children of God

• He is at the right hand of the Father interceding for us when we sin
