Our rating & descriptionThis Resort, an exclusive medieval estate in the heart of the Tuscan

country, 12 km far from Siena, is the perfect example of the concept

of uniqueness as luxury. The renovated buildings of the ancient village

are part of two different and complementary realities: Borgo Bagna and

Borgo Fila, both surrounded by an authentic natural landscape where

history, culture and traditions meet the highest level of comfort and

uniqueness. The Resort offers different kind of prestigious amenities:

two restaurants, a swimming-pool, a tennis court, the Golf Academy, the

18 hole Golf Course, and the Buddha Spa wellness

Enigmatic locations, scattered here and there, each with its own char-

acter.

Borgo Bagna has a sister, born into the same family.This is “Borgo Fila”,

located on the other side of the road. Formerly a customs outpost and

even older than Borgo Bagna, the site dates back to the 1100s.

A haven where the wind stops and birds beat their wings with extra

gentleness, so that even they make no noise, as if respecting this exqui-

site place. Bagna and Fila are a casket of treasures. Once opened it is

inevitable that we will return.

The complex is further enhanced by its “terrace over the world”: a con-

ference centre that lies peacefully on the hillside, bowing to nature and

embracing it with large windows overlooking the green countryside.

Nor could wellness be overlooked here, the homeland of the Etruscans,

conquered by the ancient Romans, all of whom came to be soothed by

the spa waters on their return from wars and battles. Here the recovery

of wellbeing is a journey worthy of the ecstasy of Buddha, and the ame-

nities of this ancient world in miniature are completed by the “Buddha

Wellness Center”, whose springs cascade from four metres in height,

the singular voice in this scenario of silence.

WeddingsThe culinary philosophy throughout the resort is based on authenticity

and fresh ingredients. The chef creates refined dishes inspired by typi-

cal Tuscan cuisine and the traditions of good Italian cooking. Ristorante

Volo in Borgo Bagna can accommodate up to 70 people inside; outside

there is a terrace which can hold up to 300 people. / Golfer Restaurant in

the Royal Golf Bagna can cater for up to 80 people inside; outside it has

a terrace which can accommodate up to 100 people. / Ristorante Fante

in Borgo Fila can accommodate up to 100 people.
