Using blogs, wikis, email, Skype etc. to visit other schools, museums, talk to experts, other students etc.
Wikis Collaborative web pages that can be built by groups. Can be private or public. Wikepedia is the best known example.
Edmodo & Ning Platforms for teachers and students to share ideas, files, events and assignments
