Mission Statement

• Development & maintenance of high-tech electronics & precision mechanics for HEP experiments– Electronics: In-house circuit design, assembly, firmware

development and testing– Mechanics: Precision machining of prototypes and small series

• Support for CMS-Trigger, CMS-Tracker, Belle, ILC and Outreach projects

– Production of full silicon tracker (together with semiconductor group) and its complete readout chain

• CMS– Trigger: Development of Global Trigger for CMS upgrade
