Almost 90% of computer users, across the world, use this system.

Made the internet user friendly so that it can be accessed by the general public

Information can be obtained with the click of the button.

Led to people not having to leave their home to shop

ATOMIC BOMB

Invented in 1945 by Robert Oppenheimer

The atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki to end World War II

This weapon lead to the development of nuclear weapons, which changed modern warfare

Invented in 1977 by Raymond Damadian

This machine gives a better anatomical view of people so that a medical diagnosis can be made with more accuracy

RANKING

The most important invention, in my opinion, is Microsoft Windows. Without this operating system, it is possible that the invention of the world wide web could have been delayed. That fact that the vast majority of the population uses this operating system is an indication as to how important it really is. Second in importance is definitely the world wide web. This invention has allowed businesses to grow as people do not need to leave their homes to shop. Third in importance is the MRI as it helps people get diagnosed with a better accuracy to help save lives. I ranked the atomic bomb last as I don’t like how many innocent people were killed by this weapon.
