I recently received your letter dated May 12,202C too late to respond before your June 4tr'meeting.

l've included an application that I downloaded from your website, but briefly:

The past winter caused some serious ice damage to my roof thal resulted in water leaks(but no structural damage). I oontacted a few roofers and one of them rvas available tosta$ and finish the work in one rveekend with only one week's lead time. Otheruise Ir,las looking at weeks or months before anyone was available. I asked about permits andhe said his company takes care ofthose. I was unaware ofthe separate application for theHistorical District Cornmission arrd apologize for this oversight on my part.

The work done consisted of repairing the rotted section ofroof, improving the flashing onthe edges, and removing and replacing the shingles. The work started Saturday, May 9thand was completed the same day.

I did take a picture on my phone ofthe work being done and can send that to you ifnecessary.

I do believe the new grey/black shingles are a better match for the building than theprevious brovrm ones.
