How ‘bout It’ By Yvonne Kaelin

Has anyone noticed the little Wylies just outside the gate? Two young coyotes have been spotted a number of times by the gates, so be careful with your pets.

The shows are back! I’ve been waiting for over a year for shows to start up again. Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. First things happening is Rockets over the River along the Riverwalk area in Laughlin. Many people just go to the beach to watch if they don’t want to brave the crowd. If I’m not mistaking, fireworks can be seen from Vista.

The Riverside has slated shows starting September 1, with Desperado, followed by the Australian Bee Gees, Eagles Tribute, Righteous Brothers, and Mick Adams and the Stones. The Box Office has opened and I noticed lots of activity there, so if you’re interested you might want to purchase early.

Harrah’s had Little Joe Y La Familial for July 30 and 31. Alabama (my favorite group) will grace the stage September 5. I’ve seen them four times and I’m pushing for five. Justin Moore will be there on October 23.

Little River Band on July 21 and Scotty McCrery on August 7 will hit the stage at the Edgewater.

If anyone is into Jazz, there is a free show on Friday and Saturday afternoons at the Outlet Mall in Laughlin.

From Faith…… Wow, the summer is just flying by. We are already coming up on the 4th of July! Pretty soon our Snowbirds will be back. Until then our staff is busy with summer projects in anticipation of the next season. I have been so happy to see so many of you at all of our summer activities! It is so nice to have something to do, besides hide from the heat. I know many of you will be doing some traveling this summer. Be safe, have fun and come back soon!

The cherry on the sundae is over at the Laughlin Event Center. Miranda Lambert is coming in September 4, Lynyrd Skynyrd October 2, Kid Rock October 16 and my heartthrob Toby Keith on October 23.

What we have worked on this month… Wade has been all alone for about a month now. Yet, he has still managed to complete the following; landscaping on the south corner of the amenities complex, put in a “smoking area” also on the south end of the amenities complex complete with pavers, table and chairs, he had the lighting in the parking lot repaired, had the flagpole repaired, and is currently supervising the painting of the amenities complex.

What is up next month…… Mailroom floor painting. Watch for updates as the mailroom will be closed for a couple days! The New Doors are scheduled for the end of July, first part of August (hopefully). Continue new landscaping throughout park. And a WHOLE lot more!!

The Guardian Foundation [ We continue to seek donations of water,

which will continue throughout the summer/HOT months. These donations can

be left at the RV Office and we will make sure they are picked up. Again, we thank

you for your continued generosity.

Vista Del Sol SALES Joe and Drema have been very busy in June...Several RV lots have been sold and there are Reservations for 3 of the new homes.

What we have really enjoyed are the visits we have been getting from our current Residents. We love you stopping in just to chat and see how fast we are growing. We are always ready to pop open a "Cold" bottle of water and give this hot weather a break.

We have a Realtor from Keller Williams here to greet you and it gives Joe and I a little break from being here 7 days a week. Amy Emerson loves this Community, being a part of it and anxious to meet of you.

The Sales office will be closed Saturday, Sunday & Monday 3rd, 4th and 5th in observance of Independence Day. We wish all of you a safe and happy 4th of July.
