WELCOME TO THE 2021 TOUR!Now in its 28th year, the London Artists’ Studio Tour once again invites art lovers into the working environs of local artists.
This year’s Tour includes 25 artists working in a variety of media including acrylic, oil, watercolour, coloured pencil, found object assemblage, glass, clay, paper, photography, textile and more, in approaches ranging from traditional to experimental.
The London Artists’ Studio Tour is organized by a small group of professional artists – Sarah Cowling, Carol Finkbeiner Thomas, Corinne Garlick, Kim Kaitell and Beth Stewart. Each year, this core group selects additional participants through a jurying process that looks for quality art by practicing artists who show a dedication to perfecting their craft and have a studio able to accommodate Tour traffi c.
The Tour is as much about the process of creating art as it is about the art works themselves. Browsers are welcome. Artists are present in their studios for the duration of the Tour to explain their craft and answer questions. Watch for pop-up demonstrations and opportunities for hands-on experiences.
This is a self-guided tour and is free of charge. Friday, October 1st is opening night. Between the hours of 7 and 9:30 p.m., tour-goers are treated to fi rst choice of the artists’ works. Studios remain open Saturday, October 2nd from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, October 3 from noon to 5 p.m.
Please note that Tour artists are prepared to fully embrace any COVID-19 public health measures deemed necessary at the time of the Tour.

2022 CALL FOR ENTRIESDates for the 2022 tour have yet to be set, but will be in April.
All media are acceptable.
Applicants must be working artists with accessible studio space located in London that is able to accommodate up to 300 people going through in one weekend. Artists must be present in their studio for the duration of the tour.
Applications can be submitted online at:https://londonstudiotour.ca/london-artists-studio-tour-2021-registration-form/
You will need to upload the following digital fi les:• Eight (8) examples of the work you would like to show• Two (2) photos of your studio space.• A list of the images uploaded (numbered to correspond with the image fi le names)• A PDF of your CV/Resumé• An accurate hand-drawn (photographed or scanned) or computer-generated map of your
studio’s location in London.
You should also be prepared to input your contact information, studio information, artist’s profi le and social media links (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
Images must be clear and sharp and representative of the type of work you are intending to show during the tour. A cohesive grouping is recommended. Each image fi le name must include the artist’s name, a reference number (eg: reg01, reg02), title, media, size, and the year the piece was created.

Applicants will be informed of the jury’s decision by December 1, 2021.
A participation fee of $250 per artist is payable upon acceptance. All participants/studios must have personal liability insurance during the tour – house insurance alone does not provide adequate coverage.
