BackgroundSpring Stars Dance Festival was created by sisters back in2008.

We decided to host the event in memory of our dance momwho passed away and for everyone who has been affected inone way or another by cancer.

MissionWe are committed to bringing people together for a greatergood. A portion of the proceeds from each event will becombined with the dollars raised by a charity to provide hopeto community members of all ages who are in need of hopefor a brighter tomorrow.

AccomplishmentsThus far we have raised and donated more than $200,000 tosupport cancer treatment, while also returning monies toparticipating students and teachers in the form ofscholarships and awards. We feel that our contribution issignificant in providing patients, their friends and theirfamilies with hope.

AdjudicatorsOur adjudicators are professionals in the dance arts beingdancers, performers, choreographers and teachers. As such, their opinions and ideas are to broaden the students’ dancehorizons.

MasterclassesEach year, following our dance competitions we offer thedancers, who have performed all week, the opportunity totake masterclasses with the adjudicators.

The opportunity... to learn unique choreography, to performfor their parents and peers, and to take photos with friendsand the adjudicators creates wonderful memories for thedancers that will last a lifetime!

Our adjudicators, at this year’s competitions in both Regina &Saskatoon are really looking forward to spending time withyour dancers following a week of enjoying your performanceson stage.

More information will follow closer to the competition dates.2020
