While searching for a newer and more modern tool for Reporting, Budgeting and Analysis for SAP Business One, Codestone decided to offer Solver, formerly known as BI360, as an optional BI tool as an add-on to their SAP customers. After SAP dropped XL Reporter in SAP B1, and told customers and partners to go for Crystal Reports, Codestone decided to search for a new modern, cost efficient and easy-to-use Reporting and Budgeting tool instead.

They found Solver from Solver that offers an out-of-the-box integration to SAP B1 with thousands of fields included. The fact that Solver360 can offer a quick-start to SAP GL and sub-ledger reporting out-of-the-box, but still with an easy interface for customizing and extending the integration, made the choice easy. Codestone has more than 30 customers on Solver using it for both Excel- and web-based reporting and budgeting. The existing support desk could easily learn the features and functions since it is based on Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Office standard components.
