2020 OFF TO A GREAT START The Widders Ball was a success. For those who arrived on Friday we gathered at the Borken Yolk for a private dinner. The Café was closed to the public , we had a great time and are looking to do it again next year. As for the Widders Ball gambling was the theme. Casino tables were set up and the chips and drinks flowed throughout the evening.

A duel plaquing with Platrix was held in Acton at the Acton Cemetery followed by a Red Shirt Invasion and Watering Hole dedication at the 49er Saloon in Acton. See next page for more. Spring will take us to Camp Hamilton located in the Northern end of Bak-ersfield. We think all the ECV Bothers will find this Clampsite most Satis-factory. The below schedule will give you a quick overview of what awaits you for Clamping year 6025

BUT MOST ESPECIALLY FOR… There is a women’s shelter in Bakersfield to which Peter Lebeck Chapter has been do-nating for many years. We’ve been providing residents with personal care items that they otherwise wouldn’t have. Things like shampoo, powder, hair conditioner, disposable ra-zors, body lotion, etc. give these ladies a sense of worth and dignity. Toys and learning supplies (pencils, crayons, construction paper and the like) also allow the kids some semblance of a childhood. Through no fault of their own, these dispos-sessed families can certainly use a bit of kindness. Remember the oath you took when you joined this band of miscreant malefactors and help us take care of the Widders and Orphans. But especially the Widders.

DON’T BE AFRAID TO PITCH IN AND HELP While we strive mightily to ensure that everyone gets fed well and has an awesome time, what would make it even better is if everyone pitches in when it’s time to make or break camp. It is true that many hands make light work, but even truer is the fact that the more quickly we get things set up, the more time we have for doing what we came to do –

have fun. So please don’t be shy about lending a hand .

Saturday Clamper Get Away The Clamper Get Away has become a most enjoyable monthly event and has brought ECV Brothers from other Chapters closer together. In fact a three way is being planned for the Spring of 2021, and we know “Every Clamper Loves a Three Way” . So consider joining us for a brew or two. Give Top Turner your Email address and get on the distribu-tion list.

Duel Chapter Plaquing and Watering Hole Dedication

Saturday, 22 February 6025 103 brave soles from the community and ECV Red Shirts and some Widders gathered at the Acton Cemetery for a duel Plaquing followed by a Watering Hole Dedication at the 49 Saloon in Acton.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST We tend to clump together in our own little groups, which is fine, but it is a richer experience for us all when we make the effort to get to know our brothers better. Remember what it means to be a Redshirt. Take the time to do a “Walk About” and visit other brothers clampsite.

Owners of the 49er Saloon Larry and Cecelia receive their ECV Proclamation from Pete Fries, XNGH Platrix #2 and Mark “Pokey” Crawford, NGH, PXL 1866

The 49er saloon is now an official “ECV Watering Hole”

Community Leaders along with Platrix and PXL Unveil the Plaque.
