• Voucher (Other registered voter or an employee of a residential facility)
• Notice of Late Registration
• Valid registration in precinct

Proofs of residence: Vouching
• Allows a person to attest that they know a person is eligible to
vote in the precinct.
• Two types of vouchers:
• Registered voter who lives in same precinct as person registering (Voter
Voucher)
• Employee of a residential facility the person registering resides at
(Employee Voucher)

• Registered voter who can confirm the registrant’s name and address
• Election judges can vouch if registered in precinct
• May vouch for up to eight voters
• Vouched for may not vouch
• Challengers may not vouch
• Precinct List of Persons Vouching form completed by Poll Book Judge

Proofs of residence: Employee Voucher
• Staff person of a residential facility where the voter registering currently resides
• Staff person of a “residential facility” may vouch for an unlimited number of residents in their facility
• Voucher must answer questions and sign the pollbook for each voter for whom they have vouched

Things to keep in mind
• Never ask a voter for ID unless they are registering
• Return voter’s documents to them when they’ve finished registering
• Always turn the “Voter Confirmation” screen to the voter
• Set up order for pollbooks:
• 1st hot spot

Spoiling ballots
If a voter makes a mistake on their ballot:
1. Have the voter place their ballot with the mistake on it into Spoiled Ballot Envelope.
2. Issue new ballot.
