8.3 Seedings Process Rankings from the 2019 AYWPC will be used for the seedings of the 2020 Competition using the following system:

i. 2019 rankings for each division will be allocated to the number of pots required for the 2020 Competition Structure. Eg. If there were 16 teams who competed in the 16&U Girls division the previous year, ranking will be based on the Club’s result in that division, regardless of the upcoming year’s team list.

EXAMPLE

2019 16&U Girls 2020 16&U Girls Rank Club/Team Pot

1st Adelaide Crows

Pot 1 2nd Brisbane Lions 3rd Carlton Blues 4th Collingwood Magpies 5th Essendon Bombers

Pot 2 6th Fremantle Dockers 7th Geelong Cats 8th Gold Coast Suns 9th GWS Giants

Pot 3 10th Hawthorn Hawks 11th Melbourne Demons 12th North Melbourne Kangaroos 13th Port Adelaide Power

Pot 4 14th Richmond Tigers 15th Saint Kilda Saints 16th Sydney Swans

ii. Teams that did not compete in the 2019 Championships will be randomly seeded in the lowest

position.

iii. Teams that do not return after the 2019 Championship will forfeit their position, and the rankings will move up to fill the position.

iv. Once the Pots are determined, teams will be randomly drawn and placed into Groups using the following procedure:
