Welcome to the 2020 Canberra Comedy Festival.

The Festival continues to bring some of Australia’s, and the world’s, funniest comedians to Canberra. The ACT Government is once again proud to support the festival as it showcases our inclusive, and sometimes very funny, city to some of the world’s best talent.

As our CBD transforms into a thriving comedy hub once again, there’s a show for everyone. And, yes, there will certainly be dick jokes.

After a summer of bushfires, I hope you have the chance to relax, enjoy a laugh and celebrate one of our city’s great festivals.

Australia's Crown Prince of Comedy returns for another season of sauce and sass with his latest stand up show. You’ll know Joel from his sashaying down a red carpet with several champagnes under his belt or from his numerous television appearances, global Netflix special or his autobiography Thirsty.

Ever wanted to be tagged out? Jeffrey Charles and Dylan Holmes have. The fluid hour-long show will involve two of Canberra’s emerging comics sharing stage time, much like tag-team wrestling.
