• In Good Health - All Pets must be in good health, have had a Veterinary Check within the past 12 months, be up-to-date with Vaccinations required and on heartworm preventative.
• No Critters - Please check your dog thoroughly for critters before boarding. Dog will be refused if fleas or ticks are found. Any treatment required to remedy if required will be at owner’s expense.
• Short Nails - Dog’s nails must be short and smooth. Nail trimming is available and may be required to performed for the safety of the Guest and our Staff.
• Clean - Dogs must be clean the day of boarding. Dog’s coat must be free of tangles, mats, burrs etc.
• Doggie Stuff - Toys, Crates, Bedding are welcome as long as they are in good condition, washable, and market with their name.• People Friendly - Dogs must be people friendly. Aggressive or fearful dogs will be refused or sent home for everyone’s safety.• Noise Control - Dogs may be sent home that persist with excessive barking that disturbs the other guests.
This is a Contract between Koolau Bed and Biscuit (Owners and Staff) and the pet owner (hereafter called “Owner”).
1. Responsibility for Care of Pet - Koolau Bed & Biscuit shall exercise reasonable care for the Owner’s pet and is granted the sole discretion to seek veterinary care as deemed appropriate. Owner will pay all costs associated with any veterinary care required. Koolau Bed & Biscuit shall not be liable for medical and/or any other conditions exacerbated by stay in the kennel.
2. Owner’s Responsibility - The Owner specifically represents that he or she is the owner of the pet and agrees to be solely responsible for any and all acts or behavior of said pet while it is in the care and on the premise of Koolau Bed & Biscuit. Owner asserts that all known medical and behavioral history of pet has been disclosed. Owner agree to pay all charges upon pick-up.
3. Contract - This Contract contains the entire agreement between the parties. Any controversy or claim arising out of or related to this Contract shall be settled by arbitration in accordance to the American Arbitration Association.
