BEST OF BREED COMPETITION BEST IN PUPPY CLASSES BEST IN BRED-BY-EXHIBITOR CLASS BEST IN VETERAN CLASSES The judge, at his/her discretion, may award JAM’s to those dogs competing for Best of Breed who do not win BOB, BOS, or BOW – the number of JAM’s will be 10% Best of Breed entry.

NON-REGULAR CLASSES INVOLVING MULTIPLE DOG ENTRIES Stud Dog Class – For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. Stud Dogs must be entered in the Stud Dog Class and shown in the ring with their Get. Owner of Stud Dog need not be owner of the Get. Award will be based on merits of the Get. Get must be individually entered in one of the Regular Classes in this show for which it is eligible. NO ENTRY FEE FOR THIS CLASS. Brood Bitch Class – Same as Stud Dog Class, except substitute “Stud Dog” with “Brood Bitch” and “Get” with “Produce”. NOTE: As the judge’s decision in the Stud Dog and Brood Bitch classes will be based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class will be eligible for Best of Breed by virtue of having won these classes. ENTRY FEES - CONFORMATION, SWEEPS, OBEDIENCE $28 for the first entry EACH day of each dog and $20 for each additional entry of the same dog in the same event (including $3.00 AKC event service fee per entry & $.50 AKC recording fee first entry only). Puppy Classes (6-9 months & 9-12 months) and Bred by Exhibitor are $20 for first entry (including above event service fee & recording fee). Sweepstakes classes are $20. Highest fee is considered first entry. Entries for regular sweepstakes must be entered in a regular class also. NO FEE FOR STUD DOG OR BROOD BITCH. Entry fees payable in U.S. funds only.

Unless otherwise specified, all trophies are offered through the generosity of members and friends of the Miami Valley Labrador Retriever Club, Inc. A complete list of donors will be included in the catalog. The Club reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

For permanent possession, it must be won three times by the same owners, not necessarily with the same dog. Trophy is to be retained by the Club. A small memento is offered for permanent possession. Saturday, May 11, 2019 BEST OF BREED .... The Ch Misti-Dawn Analore Sojourn WC Challenge Trophy. A Feeding Pintail Duck Decoy, offered by MVLRC for competition at its Specialty Shows only. For permanent possession, it must be won three times by the same owner, not necessarily with the same dog. Trophy is to be retained by the Club. Chris Carroll of Frogcreek offers a small memento for permanent possession.

Open to dogs and bitches 6 months old and under 18 months. Entry fee is $20. Each entry MUST be entered also in one of the Regular classes at this show. Indicate "Sweepstakes" on the regular entry form in the space for "Additional Classes."

BREAKFAST

Complimentary coffee, donuts & juice will be available on the show grounds Friday and Saturday mornings.

LUNCH

Lunch will be available both days for a nominal fee.

SATURDAY AFTER-SHOW PARTY Please join us ringside for our complimentary after-show buffet. Final drawings for the

big raffle will be held at this time! Relax and enjoy with friends and our judges. All are welcome!

PARKING AND GROUNDS

Our show site is inside a building. Near the building are modern restrooms with showers available. Blacktop and gravel parking lots.. There is also an open field for x-ing dogs which will contain buckets and scoopers. In case of bad weather please be observant

of signs regarding usage of the gravel lot.

RV sites are available with water and electric hook-ups for $20 per night. Prepayment is not necessary. Please let the show chair know (Chris Carroll at

[email protected]) if you plan to bring your RV for fairground hours, a map of the grounds, & payment procedure.

NOTES TO EXHIBITORS

A Recording Fee of $0.50 and an Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club show, Obedience Trial, or Rally Trial.

These fees are to be collected by the show-giving Club and paid to the American Ken-nel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one regular or non-regular recordable single

entry class in the show, a $3.00 service fee is required for each additional entry. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2.)

NO REFUND FOR DUPLICATE ENTRIES.

TELEPHONE, TELEGRAPH, DIRECT FAX AND UNSIGNED ENTRIES CANNOT BE ACCEPTED. Any class changes or cancellations must be received in writing prior to the

closing. Refund will be made after the show. Entries not on official AKC Entry Forms and photocopies of entry forms without Agreement and Rules on reverse side of the

official AKC Entry Forms are not acceptable. Please notify Secretary if Acknowledgment is not received by one week prior to the show.

PRIZES, TROPHIES, CERTIFICATES AND ROSETTES will be awarded in the ring to

the person exhibiting the dog, who shall be considered the owner or agent. All claims to prizes must be made in the judging ring before completion of judging of the class, and

the Show Secretary advised at once of any discrepancy.

SHOW WILL OPEN from 7 A.M.- 7 P.M., Friday; 7 A.M.-7 P.M., Saturday. Dogs may arrive at any time prior to judging. Dogs not needed for further judging will be excused. Judges are not required to wait for dogs. Dogs will not be permitted to run free

on the grounds.

LAST MINUTE ENTRIES? We suggest InfoDog (48 hours ahead) or Entries on Time @ 1-800-992-8955 (48 hours or less), Showtime Entry Service @ 609-737-2233, or Best In Show Entry Service @ 800-247-7005. MVLRC Show Secretary cannot accept cred-it cards or faxed entries. Overnighting via USPS ExpressMail will arrive by noon.

USERS OF OVERNIGHT DELIVERY SERVICES: If you don’t sign the signature waiver, your entry could be delayed, since the Show

Secretary is not available at all times during the day to sign receipts.

Fee Overpayments of $8 and under will be considered a donation to Labrador Rescue Underpayments are under AKC rules – you must make them good.

The MVLRC is not responsible for any belongings left at the show site

NOTE: Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian’s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have

appropriate vaccinations.

If, because of riots, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the control of MVRLC, it is impossible to open or to complete these shows, no refund of entry will be made.
