Katy has over 20 years in the hair industry and is responsible for motivating, inspiring and driving the TONI&GUY Education team. She is a highly experienced stylist, having worked as a stylist and salon owner in the UK and Australia.

She is responsible for all TONI&GUY’s national creative events and collaborations. She brings this experience to the TONI&GUY Education program, inspiring students and staff, and ensuring what we teach you has value in the Australian and International hairdressing industry.

Who's it for? What you will learnThis course has been created to upgrade, strengthen and improve your core cutting and colouring technique’s. This course is ideal for stylists that are in the final stages of training or returning hairdressers who wish to gain more confidence in their skills, stylists wanting to perfect specific elements of their education, and for aspiring salon trainers who wish to learn fundamental cutting and colour techniques, our aim is to reinforce your confidence and to grow and develop your current abilities.

What makes this course so special is that we work on your own needs by finding out about you before the course. The emphasis is to work on the 4 main cutting techniques Foundations, Layering, Precision and Gradation and the 4 main colour techniques of Tinting, Highlighting through to Foundational Balayage,Tone & Palettes.

You will be provided with the knowledge needed to enhance ad refine these techniques necessary for progression to advanced skills.

Through demonstration and practical workshop, you will be taught how to facilitate client consultations, including elements of suitability, hair density, texture, face shapes and lifestyles.
