PreservesThank you for all of the amazing donations of lemons and limes. WOW! These will make lots of scrumptious lemon and lime curds which we’ll prepare closer to the big day. Keep an eye out for them at the Spring Fair. We’ve also been able to get some great produce from the Big Watermelon Bushy Park market at super special prices! We bought tomatoes, onions and quinces which, together with the other fantastic produce that has been donated, we’ve made them into a range of delicious preserves: • Quince Paste which pairs beautifully

with a variety of cheeses. With a very good yield, there will be plenty to go around.

• Quince Jelly which is delicious on hot crumpets or croissants, but has produced a very limited amount so you’ll have to get in quick! It is such a special jelly if you haven't tried it before.

• Nona's Tomato Relish made with an old-fashioned chunky recipe. This is all jared up and is delicious on a steak sandwich or as a great accompaniment to your summer BBQ.

• Onion Jam made with some King Valley Red Wine and a hint of spice, will pair nicely with sausages or strong cheddar.

• Green Chilli Sauce made mainly from Argentinian chillies and  is hot with flavour.

And, there is still plenty more to come! Make sure you buy some of these yummy preserves at the Fair.

Can you help? If you have some spare time, Mirella would love your help to label, make or jar any of the homemade preserves. Please contact Mirella on 0402 911 237 if you can help.

Thank you for your support!

Are you a member of our local business community? We are seeking sponsorships with local community businesses to help offset the cost of running the Spring Fair, enabling profits to go directly to achieving our fundraising goals. This year we are actively seeking sponsorship partners to assist with our goal of renovating the student toilets at school. In exchange for your generous support, we will be happy to promote your business within our school network and to the wider community. If you know of a local business who could sponsor our Spring Fair with any of our sponsorship packages listed below, we’d love to hear from you.

You can download the sponsorship prospectus here: https://www.warranwood.vic.edu.au For more information about becoming a sponsor, please contact Shane Harrop, Principal on 9876 6066 or email Kellie Spiden at [email protected]. The sponsorship funds we receive really will make a significant difference to our capacity to reach our toilet refurbishment goal.
